The boy entered the room akwardly. The music wasn't as loud as he had expected it to be. He smiled and scanned the area with bright blue eyes. Gee, he felt sort of alone. Where was Riku anyway? Gentle hands smoothed out the fabric of his gown as he stood akwadly at the entrance. Okay, maybe wearing a dress wasn't the smartest move...But he wanted to impress Riku even just a little bit. He blushed at the thought before walking out of the way.
Sora sighed and pulled nervously at the fabric of his dress again. I hope no one thinks I'm a girl, he thought to himself before a tint of red covered his slightly tan face. Maybe luck would hit and he wouldn't be the only man in dres!!!
Sora hung his head low, okay that was a dumb thought. But whatever. Azul hues scanned the clearing until he found a familiar red head. He was at this schooll too? "Hey Axel!" the boy waved, picking up the bottom of his dress so he could move faster in his attempt to greet him.

"But still, it looks really good on you," Axel pressed, dropping the leaf nonchalantly. Maybe he should have gone to rent something. Not that the outfit looked bad on him, it was just all black and not as formal and reminded him of the darkness of his past.
He looked around, "Well, I've never talked to that kid in the dress but I do know his name and all. Some guy named Koki in my History class seemed to know him." He paused, giving the smallest of sighs, "Well I recognize some of these people, but I don't know anyone-"
He was cut off and he swiveled his head to the left, eyes scanning until they met bright blue and a flash of brown hair. "Um...I think some chick knows me," He said to Roxas with a smug grin and he stuck out his tongue a little.
As the figure approached, he choked, bursting out into hysterical laughter. "Oh my God," He said breathlessly before cracking up again, "It's Sora!"

It kinda looks like she attracted some attention. She doesn't know what to act for all people seems to steal a look for her. She thought it was nothing. Maybe it's because standing here made her looked like she's those kind of ill kids. You know, those kill and laugh types. They appear quite a lot in the animes. Surprisingly, one of the people that saw her came and talked to her. Inside her, she's really happy! It looks like she's not going to be alone anymore! The girl then asked a question about not having fun. That, well, is not true. She, well, shy. When she's going to deal with a stranger, she becomes shy. But if she gets to know the stranger, she opens up by being energetic and all.
"N-No...it's just that...I'm new." She answered the girl honestly. If she knew some of the people here, maybe she would have fun even more. "My name is... Tsuki Hinamori. Nice to meet you, Akane-san..." It doesn't matter if Akane is older or younger. It's all about respect! Well, to be honest, she don't wanna sound all rude, y'know? For now she wonders, is it okay for her to be herself towards this girl? Would it seem too rude? She can't help it but smile and laugh and jump and so on. She's just scared to do it. Because, well, the same answer again, shy.
Later, a boy, could be lot younger than her came and approach her. She felt mecha happy when the boy came talking to her. This is for first day yet she became friends with two person! Looks like she will be happy here! But, it seems the boy misunderstand something, about skipping grades. She doesn't want to lie to the boy, so she answered truely. "..Uh, I skipped grades when I was young, but... I prefer not to in this school.." What she means is that when she was homeschooled, she studied lots and could catch up very fast. Like, she's nine, but she's studying eleven year olds subjects. So if she studies in this school, it will be a breeze and it will be possible for her to aim for the highest mark in the class. "I'm Tsuki Hinamori..and... Sorry, I'm 16 but I hope I could be your friend..." She answered him nervously. Oh she feels like she's going to die of nervous-ness. She thought it's impossible, but, it kinda looks like it is imposible now. She hoped Syoaran would still be her friend...

the absurdity of it all. directed to, rikka
"So did you get lonely without me?" Curious would have been the more appropriate word to use, but, where was the fun in that? Might as well get some laughs or interesting reactions before the end of the night - it was, after all, a once in a lifetime thing for a servantbutler to escort the queen to the ball, right? "Maybe, you never know." He replied airily as he came closer to take a peek at the 'hidden treasure.' It was a rather simplistic ting: a box containing food. He liked the idea of having sodas around, they should have added that to the table instead of that stupid punch.
"What do you have in here anyway? Anything good?" He was at the other side, parallel to her, towering just a tad bit, "I guess it beats anything but punch."

"Same implications in my book though." It was the first time that he was asked this, oh definitely not, but would it kill people to think a little bit outside the box? He was loaded with smokes but not booze, although the latter was far more cheaper than the former in terms of price. "And besides, why do you need to know about my tolerance? You wanna have a contest or something?" Curiosity did kill the cat, plus it would've been funny to see how a high school student faired against himself, being taller, older, and etc.
"I just think the world is better with laughing people. Plus, I think people who don't laugh are no fun at times." Good philosophy, only that it never turned out like that when it came to actual practice. Aside from that the world was not all laughs and smiles, whether peopled liked it or not, so oh well. "Get used to it. I'll laugh when I feel like it - like, for instance, when that dancing couple begins to fumble and trip on their own feet." The counselor pointed at a vague crowd to prove his point.

Sora frowned at the sudden outburst of laughter. Dammit! Blue eyes narrowed, he thought he was a girl?! "you mean you don't like it?" he asked, frowning. Though he smiled again before punching the taller in the arm, with all his strength. "well if Riku likes it then it dosent matter what you think."

Kohaku smiled and scratched her cheek. "A contest does sound interesting, but I am not old enough." She stared to where he pointed. "Yes, it would be entertaining to watch a couple do that."
Kohaku placed a finger to her cheek in contemplation. The sandwiches provided were not that good, but she ate them anyway. She stuffed a few more in her mouth. The bread was a bit dry and she accidentally ate one filled with cucumber. Ick...
"And you're supposed to laugh when you feel like it. Forced laughing is fake laughing. And fake laughing doesn't count." Kohaku lifted a finger in the air. "Now, if everyone could laugh from their heart because of something good, then things would definitely be better in some way. But that's an impossible dream and I know it."

"It's good that you realize that." He repliedm "And a lot of people fake it, but enough about laughter - the topic is getting old, boring, and sickeningly disgusting." He made a slight face and reached into his pocket, took out a water bottle, and drank from it. He didn't really trust that the school would provide something feasible to drink, along with those sabotaged cups, and he really didn't feel like taking his chances with anything else on that table.
"What else was there... oh yes, about drink." Valentine mumbled to himself as he put his drink away, "A lot of people drink underage anyway, but having adult supervision is best so you don't do anything that will f*ck you for life." That and the fact that who would provide the drinks in the first place?

16? Syaoran looked surprised as she said this, and he looked her up and down again. No matter how he looked she still looked to be about the same age as him in terms of height and face. "Um. Oh... Well we're still almost pretty much the same age," Syaoran gave a nervous laugh. He hadn't specifically said how old he was yet, so he could just leave it at that. Awkward, awkward. He had been so quick to greet the girl thinking she was in the same situation as he, but it turned out she wasn't at all. And yet, he was glad he had made the effort since she seemed nice and gave off a more refined sense than some of the other girls he had seen around. Maybe she came from a good background?
He could tell that she was nervous as well, so he tried to relax. Somehow her sweet offer to be friends reminded him of Sakura. He could feel a kind of peaceful, innocent kindness from the girl. Yeah... this wasn't a chance he wanted to let slip by.
"So, I think it would be great to be friends..." he managed, smiling honestly. However, he knew the awkwardness would not leave as long as they were just standing there nervously talking, so he took a deep breath. If there was one thing he was confident in it was his athleticism... so dancing was an easy thing for him.
"Would you... like to dance?"

Sora really did know how to take his time. Lazy bum's probably still getting dressed. Or sleeping, Riku thought sourly, checking his watch. Not that he'd necessarily begrudge Sora that--Kairi wasn't here, after all, and two guys couldn't be expected to have much fun at a dance if they didn't have dates.
So he figured he might as well ask someone to dance in the meantime. There were plenty of single girls, it looked like, and even if Riku was somewhat outnumbered as a relatively good-looking guy, he didn't expect any trouble. He'd just caught sight of an attractive blue dress and realized the owner was over by a familiar-looking... Wasn't that guy in the Organization...? I remember him! He's the one who tried to kidnap Rox... Come to think of it, Roxas was there too--but that wasn't the worst of it. As his eyes flickered back to the girl, he suddenly recognized the hairstyle.
S...S-So...?!
At first his feet wouldn't move, rooted to the ground by that revelation, and then he was making a beeline--not shoving people aside but not being particularly gentle either. "S...!" He stopped short, staring again. "...Sora, are you...wearing...what I think you're wearing?"

Sora looked up at Riku and smiled. "H-hi Riku!" he laughed slightly and played with the dress again. Alright maybe the dress was over the top. Blue eyes looked into Riku's aqua ones for a second "Um yeah I'm in a dress" he said flatly, latching onto his arm.

Roxas rolled his eyes when Axel noticed a girl approaching him. Of course. Roxas definitely expected them to get swept off into young women's arms, or at least hoped they both would at some point--it didn't count if it was just Axel--but he wasn't exactly expecting his best friend to get solicited this early in the game.
And then suddenly Axel was howling with laughter.
"Huh?"
"It's Sora!"
Roxas's jaw dropped.
Sure enough, his other had donned a sparkling blue dress, sash and all, and was approaching them both looking just as bright and cheery as ever.
What.
Sora looked understandably miffed at Axel laughing at him, but really, the boy had brought it on himself. "Well if Riku likes it then it doesn't matter what you think."
What.
He barely noticed it when Riku showed, except to shoot the silver-haired boy a quick glare and step closer to Axel, but Riku seemed too concerned with Sora to be any sort of threat.
"Um yeah I'm in a dress."
WHAT.
Roxas seized Sora by the shoulder and spun him to face his Other. "What the hell, Sora?! Are you just out to embarrass us both? It's not enough that you're this happy-go-lucky dope of a person--you also gotta wear a DRESS?! What in Ansem's name are you thinking?" he demanded, eyes wide with incredulity under a glare. It was bad enough that he wasn't even real--that Sora was the real him--but then the real him had to do something this nuts and put a dress on the body they both shared?

He blinked innocently at Riku one last time. So he was in a dress, big deal? Axel's laughing though was getting on his nerves. He turned to him "Shut up!" he hissed, then turned his head to look back up at Riku. Surely him wearing a dress wasn't that bad...
And then his shoulder was pulled. Roxas was here too? He looked into his other's equally blue eyes and smiled. But when he started crashing down on him he frowned. An embarassment? Was that all he was? He held back tears and clinched his fist "So what? It's my body, I can do what I want with it" he hufed and turned away.
"Im wearing it for Riku anyway" he mumbled.

Sora latched onto his arm like a lovestruck girl and Riku pulled away immediately, startled. "Sora, what--!"
And suddenly Roxas was giving an iconoclasm, Sora's own blue eyes flashing at him with anger and what might have been hurt, and Riku abruptly shoved him aside and got between them. "Hands off," he hissed at Roxas, his own aquamarine eyes narrowed dangerously. Once it looked like Roxas was subdued, he turned back to Sora, who was pouting and looked annoyed that people were reacting to seeing him in a dress.
Riku took his best friend by the shoulders--not hard, but firmly, and stared into his eyes. "Sora. What's this about? Are you okay? Did someone spike your drink? What'd you eat off the floor?"
It absolutely wasn't fathomable to Riku that a boy could wear a dress and like it. For heaven's sake, Riku could barely stand sleeves when he had to wear them. For his best friend to show up in a ball gown and act like it was the most natural thing in the world...that scared him. Something had to be wrong.

The Teacher stood in the doorway. He straightened out his white jacket and stared at the crowd of students. Ahhh how beautiful and pleasent. His crimson eyes shot over to a few people in the corner, fighting over some sort of dress. He Really didn't care. He had a date. With someone of peculiar origins. A smirk played on his lips as he moved to a deserted corner. Waiting for her. Perhaps he was weird for wanting to see her. And not his master.
Sebastians tall figure walked cautiously through the crowd one more time, making a 360 to be sure no one was necking or doing lewd things at a school event. Humans, all the same. He decided as he pushed a couple apart. His white dress shoes clacked as he wondered back to his corner.
Perhaprs he looked a bit strange, black hair, red eyes, and a white suit. White wasn't exactly his color but it seemed appropriate for this particular night. He played with his bowtie before crossing his arms over his lap.
