About the Roleplayer
Nickname: F.W. , Kuro, or Yuki
RP Experience: Intermediate [3+ years or so?]
About the Character
Name: Koyuki Hyousetsu
Age: Appears around 16ish but way older! >.> Not like she is going to tell anyone her real age.
Anime/Game/OC: OC
Personality:
Koyuki is a hard character to describe. When in public she puts on a mask over her true personality. She almost never let people see her true self and if they manage to catch a glimpse of her true self she pushes them away. She is afraid that she might be abandoned if she shows weakness/vulnerability and will be left alone. That is why she pushes people away-thinking that might leave her in the end. However, to the few that gains her trust and devotion she is loyal to the end and can be too trusting. If the person says to jump off a cliff, she will do it: no questions asked
She has a mask personality that she puts up in public. This personality is very different from her true nature and is the opposite of how she truly feels. When she is in her fake mask personality in place she is happy and cheerful. She seems to be a ray of sunshine and a prankster. She appears to easy going and easily brushes trouble aside. She is very gentle and to many considered to be a motherly figure. She also can be a voice of reason and help smooth the worries of the people of people. This personality is a combination of her true personality and a fake one.
Why does she show this personality even if she is not truly happy and cheerful? She doesn’t want the people around her to worry about her. She doesn’t want them to wallow in their misery and be like her also. She believes if she is depressed she will influence the feeling of others. So she tries to put the bright faced on so that they think she is fine
However her caring and gentle along with being the voice of reason is part of her true personality and is not fake. Because of her putting on a fake personality most of the time she developed she became a very good actor. This is why she is able to do her mask personality so easy these days and make it so convincing. The people who know that her happy persona is really fake think this mask is super creepy. It usually gives them the chills.
In reality Koyuki is a depressed soul. She really thinks thing on the negative side and is easily hurt by comments and actions. She usually mopes around and has an empty look in her eyes when they see her. Recently, she is just starting to warm up, be a bit more cheerful, and be more social and trusting. However, this can be easily shattered like glass and go back to her depressed state.
There is some things she cannot stand . One is bloodshed for no good reason- for what is the point for the blasted circle of pain and suffering? The other is harming the innocent people- especially children. There are other reasons why this happens: but she tries to keep this emotional state under control. When pushed too far and facing something she can’t stand- this arises her cold-heartedness that made her infamous in her time. She displays total ruthlessness and cold heartness. She does not care about anything but giving judgment, inflicting revenge, and getting what she wants.
She also has many other quirks and traits that make her unusual. She most of the dozes off and falls asleep. She can be a bit blunt and tell the truth-no matter how bad it is. She also is known to state the obvious and is known to be sarcastic. Finally, she is known to be cool headed. However if pushed too far- she can be….’violent’. If someone irritates her, she will pull out her katana and chases them around the area shouting vile curse words and threatening to freeze them into Popsicles.
History:
Koyuki had a strange and odd family compared to most. She was borne the time of Edo Japan. Her mother was a descendent of some Norse folk and was a bit Danish and Italian. It said they worshiped Fenrir and Loki secretly. They didn’t want to be ridiculed because of their beliefs-hence the secrecy. Her father on the other hand was a Shintoist offical. He particularly believed in the ways of the Samurai-being a son of a Feudal Lord himself.
She was groomed and nurtured with the best of care. She may have every luxury provided for her… However she was taught not to have a big ego and not to act like a brat. Otherwise she would be punished severely. Mainly groundings and taking away her luxuries were the punishments. However they also made her do chores and sometimes even whacked her hand with a ruler.
It seemed like a perfect life until that day…Shortly a few months after her 10th birthday. One day she came back home from private school from a late school night and there she saw a terrible sight. Her parents and the rest of the living household was dead…Not even the koi fish was spared. It was also a gruesome sight…She still have nightmares about those days today. This is why she barely gets any sleep. She knew this however: for the thing that killed her family and destroyed her in the inside was NOT human. This is because there were scratches and claw marks among with the bloodstains.
She was adopted by one of her father’s bodyguard: his chief guard to be exact. Suddenly her guardian revealed the truth. Her father was part of an agency that took care of the supernatural to keep it secret from the public eye. How did he know? He covered up their mistakes from the media and public.
Of course, Yuki at first didn’t believe this ‘nonsense’ however eventually she believed him. How so? This is because of seeing a supernatural creature with her own eyes. She vowed precisely on October 13 at Midnight [when she was 12] to track down the villain(s) who killed her parents and take her revenge. She also swore to take justice on the supernatural world, this is mainly because of the wild supernatural creatures that ruin the lives of innocent people.
She became infamous in the organization for her fake happy smiles and merciless judgment. Even if you just put your toe on the line…You were dead! At that time she began developing her supernatural powers she inherited from her father: the ability to manipulate liquids and all three states of matter of them: solid, liquid, and gas. However she works best with regular water. She was also begun learning swordplay.
Finally at the age of 16 she confronted the killer of her family. It turned out to be a vampire of some sort. She couldn’t remember his name but she knew he was big in the vampire society. No- he wasn’t the romantic and sparkly vampire. He was a merciless and cruel Count. Anyhow they managed to get into a fight and the vampire won…with Koyuki lying bleeding on the floor. It looked like she was going to die. However then something crazy happened.
She prayed for every deity to help her. From the Roman and Egyptian gods to Norse and Japanese ones. Hey, she even believed for a second that they existed. She may believed in supernatural but higher deity? I don’t think so. Finally her prayers were answered by Fenrir. Fenrir stated she was dying and there was only thing that could save her. What was the cost? It was her humanity. She must become a thing she hated. Finally she reluctantly agreed. Thus Koyuki was no longer a spiritually aware human. Instead she was now a thing we modern day folks call a werewolf.
Many years passed and finally it became clear that Koyuki was not aging. However she is attempting to get rid of this factor and return to a human aging time-line. This mainly because although she acts cold she doesn't want to be left alone in the darkness again. It was modern day times and now the organization was a Corporation. Her new “Boss” demanded she take a break from hunting that stupid vamp. Thus he sent her to the Academy. No one believed her when she claimed to be an adult. Thus they labeled her as a student much to her dismay. Look like hell on earth is about to be unleashed!
Role: 2nd Year Student
Weaknesses: Horrible at hand to hand combat, her past, cautious, cold, ruthlessness, lazy, easy to bribe, fake with emotions
Strengths: Her powers, Swordsplay, her wit, and her intelligence, and her charisma
Weapons/Magic:
Weapon:
Due to years of experience…She managed to be well rounded. However she prefers close combat weapons like swords and daggers. Her special treasure is her sword Hyouenma the “Ice Devil”. It has a rather foul and grumpy spirit residing in it. When not in use it usually takes the form of a dagger with the Kanji of Ice/Water carved in the gemstone at one end. The only ability it has is forming a sword made out of heat resistant ice and being able to be controlled telepathically with the user’s mind for a short amount of time.
Powers::
Liquid Molecules Manipulation and Creation: Koyuki has the ability to modify water molecules. Meaning she can manipulate all three states of matter regarding the substance: from liquids, to solids, and even gas! The most common form of liquids she can manipulate is regular water/ice. This can be a deadly ability…By placing a hand on a surface she can absorb liquids and use them later. If she uses them against organic objects she can cause dehydration to the objects if she isn’t careful.
WereWolf Abilities: Her other most prominent ability…This has a variety of skills overlapping in one area focusing around the wolf. The first prominent is that her senses are sharper then the usual human's. Meaning she can smell and hear stuff regular people can't. She can also communicate with various forms of canines. This may be why she hates cats with a passion. Finally - she has the ability to transform fully into a wolf of various species and sizes [max is the size of a full grown pony] and the smallest is a regular wolf puppy like size. She can even into a werewolf state. In this form she is also allergic to wolf’s bane. It causes her to go deathly ill and frail. So ill that she temporarily loses her powers and even weaker then a normal human.
Super Human Speed/Reflexes: A very strong side-effect of her werewolf abilities. This allows her much faster speed compared to other humans. It varies depending how much focus she puts into this ability. She can also react much faster then the average human and other living beings. However there is a cost of this: great amounts of energy. Her legs are strong enough to kick through solid wood and jump at max 2 stories high. This is the reason she eats a lot…If she doesn't eat periodically [like a snack for every 3 hours or so…Unless she is sleeping] - she is all grumpy and miserable...>.>
How did you come to be at the academy?: She claims it was a divine mix-up…But she was really was sent here on vacation by her boss. Sadly…The school thinks she is an exchange student somehow.

It was a dark, cold and gloomy day in the Tokyo particularly the section where Edo is located. A few minutes ago- the sun was shining brightly overhead and there were no clouds in site. Overall, it looked like it would be a bright and cheerful day. However all of a sudden, dark heavy rain clouds blew in and covered the sky. Soon it began drizzling that after a while became a full on downpour. Lighting crackled in the sky as it gave it’s unpredicted dance One individual who was out today on a walk- didn’t mind this weather at all. Instead of not liking it, she enjoyed it and found the weather quiet pleasant.
That figure was none other then Koyuki Hyousetsu. Now don’t underestimate her even if she is a female and most of acts like a cheerful kind hearted fool. No: she may enjoy non-violence and order: however she can be quiet deadly when mad or angered. However that side of her is rarely seen- considering her being a cheerful optimistic leveled head person. So people tend to not pay attention to her and that is how she likes it. Maybe that is one of the reasons why she liked playing the fool- along with the fact that she enjoys toying with the minds of other people.
Currently, she was at the moment taking a walk in the forest. Her black leather boots were being covered by mud and wet grass as she walked. She was humming a soft melody to herself up as she bobbed her head up and down. She stopped however when she saw what was up ahead from her. Her green eyes- which were warm and cheery a few moments ago with a sparkle of amusement- were now different. Instead, they had dampened down a bit and now had a dull, lifeless, and depressed look in them. She closed her as she clenched her fists tight. She clutched her fists so tightly that her nails pierced her soft palms and caused drops of crimson blood to flow from the wounds.
She opened her eyes and glanced down at the wounds- a frown appeared on her looks. She reached towards the sleeve of the coat she was wearing and ripped off a strip of cloth. She then tightly wrapped the cloth around her hand and gave a nod. It was good enough temporary bandage for now. She will give it proper medical treatment once she got back to the apartment she is staying in. It wasn’t a major wound so it did not need to be healed right away. Giving out soft sigh- she looked up at the sight that caused great emotional turmoil inside her heart. This wasn’t something that usually happens these days. No, ever since THAT incident years ago- she bottled up her emotions and put a happy cheerful mask on for the outside world. She didn’t want to get hurt anymore nor let anyone see the scar and depressed being who she really is.
The site in front of her was none other then an ancient willow tree. The long branches swayed in the wind as if it was dancing. Hanging from the branches was a swing that also swayed in the wind. Memories flashed in her head as she saw flashes of her past and happy days when she was younger and not what she was today: a werewolf.
She glared up at the sky and waved her clenched fists in anger. A depress and enraged look appeared on the face. “Why did this happen to me?!” Koyuki cried in anger and frustration at the sky. She closed her eyes and clenched her teeth. Flash backs of her past flashed through her head and this caused greater anger to be boil in her. “Why did it? Am I am plaything of the Amaterasu and the rest of kamis - just for your twisted amusement?!” With that said- she knelt onto the muddy and damp ground. She then began pounding her fist on the floor in rage. Her quiet sobs were loud as the echoed through the area. Why her of all people, why her?
“Why did all of them have to die? Why did have to become a monster!?” She softly whispered as she glanced at the engraving on the tree. Her sobbing had stopped but her depressed look was on her features. . “Did the gods think we do something wrong? Or are we just their puppets for their freak show?”
As Koyuki was kneeling on the floor sobbing- the rain stopped and the dark clouds are pushed away. The sun began to gradually shine down the village. Soon, it was bright and sunny again as the storm had passed. Birds that were hidden in the tree stretched their wings as they flew into the sky singing. This caused Koyuki to look up at the sky with a grim look on her features. It seemed that the beautiful songs of the birds had calmed her down and had lighten up her spirits somewhat. She then stood up and began to dust herself. She gave out a sigh at the muddy appearance of her pants. Looks like she is going to wash her pants sooner then she expected.
“Heh- it seems that Amaterasu and the rest are giving me a message of some sort.” Koyuki chuckled as she ran her hands through her damp hair and began twisting it to let out the water. A chuckle escaped her lips as she shook her head. “It seems that they want me to move on with life. It much harder then it looks ya know.” Koyuki with a snort as she shook her fist playfully at the sky. But she might as well give it a shot. It is better then doing nothing at all and being all depressed and such. She knew it will take some time for her to heal however. Broken bones and cuts may heal easily when taken care of- however emotional scars are much more difficult and needs much time to heal. Once it does- it will still be forever not fully healed. For you see- emotional scars never do fully recover most of the time.
