 | Late..? Fast,light footsteps sounded loud in an empty cafeteria and Finne suddenly stood still when she noticed the sound she was making. Were was everyone? Was she too early, too late? Her eyes looked around in the room. There really was no one and before a moment of thinking she turned around and started to walk back were she came from, but at the end of the hall she stopped and looked around. How does she needed to find her way here. She had no idea what to do now.
Finne always hated to go to a new place, alone. Because there was no map, or anything. How could she find her way then. She made the mistake to go run again and because she made a corner to fast Finne did not noticed that someone stood there and bumped into that person. Her own bag felt of her arm on the ground and the whole contents rolled on the ground As fast as she could she started to pick up her stuff. Softly wispering a weak excuse. "Sorry sorry.."Even softer she wisperd almost unnoticeable . "Why am I so clumsy.." She felt so stupid for just running into someone. And the day on a new school just started. This was going to be a disaster.
The voice of her fake dad, how she called him, sounded in her head. 'Ow that school is really perfect for you. I'm sure your going to get alot of friends. Your not an outsider, your maybe even better then them. They maybe have alot of money, but that does not mean that they are better then you.."
Ow why does she needed to this place.. Why coudn't she just stayed on her own well knowned school..

Neku was wandering around since he had a free period. One of the blessings when it came to taking extra classes. After all he had already finished math and history, the two things that were just facts and not opinion. He was always good at those since he can understand concepts easily unlike literature where he had to come up with the concept and compare it with other people. Most of the time, he just copies whatever Rikka says, a burden really. He continued to walk though and wondered silently to himself where he should go next. It was a free period and he is suppose to go ahead and relax, but he really couldn't. He felt like he had to do something since if he relax, that might mean that he is slacking off and his parents would not like that. After all, they had to have the perfect son no matter what which was why he didn't have that much freedom. If it wasn't for his twin he would had most likely lose more than his opinion. He might have just lose his personality or at least that's what the girl had stated.
Soon his eyes caught sight of someone that appeared to be his age. She looked quite fragile though almost like a china. Hmmm. What was she doing here? He walked over to her, did she have a free period as well? He wasn't exactly sure but he just walked over to her anyway. Once he made it over he introduced himself by taking his hat off to reveal his messy hair and bowed."Good afternoon, the name is Iramaki Neku. What's yours?" at the end of his introduction he put his hat back on his head as he lifted the upper half of his body. It was a habit he couldn't get rid of, but he didn't mind it. He kind of like it since in a way it made him feel a bit like an adult and not a child. He hated having to act like a child, it was something he tried his best to make sure not to be. After all it wasn't how his parents raised him.
He looked around the cafeteria to notice for the first time that only the two of them were here. Figures, most of the students must have been in the city for their free period or in a class to talk with their friends. Maybe even in a library to read a book. So what was this girl doing here? Did she wanted to be alone? If that wast he case he had to destroyed that. A bit nervous at that thought he scratched the back of his head. Uhmm, what to do now."You probably wanted to be alone huh?" he asked with a nervous chuckle added.

So after a disastrous first half of the school day, Chii had wandered in to the cafeteria. She had so many problems in English class as she just kind of stared at her paper and the pencil for a good twenty minutes, and when she finally was told how to write, let's just say that didn't turn out well either. And if anyone thought that was bad, science was class was worse. She had no idea what she was doing in the lab, and made something explode... which she thought was perfectly okay, that was until she was yelled at. This had left Chii confused, she did not know what she had done wrong to upset the teacher. So the teacher sent her off to her free period, which was obviously time for lunch. Like with every other class she got lost at last a dozen times before she was finally pointed in the right direction and met destination. After all, all teachers were given specific instructions not to let her leave campus on her own, hell her being on campus alone was problematic enough.
But since persocoms didn't eat, Chii had no idea what she was supposed to do. Was she supposed to write things on paper like English? Was she supposed to mix things like in science? And why was this room so big? Is this where people did their wakey-wakey exercises? That just had to be what this room was built for! However, she didn't see a Sumomo... so maybe not. But hell, how was she supposed to know? Third year here in this school, and she still didn't cover half the school, it wasn't until this year Chii was even allowed to leave her dorm room other then to go to classes. That may have been a smart move to keep it that way. But everyone makes mistakes, and this mistake was to let Chii roam on her own.
Eventually. Chii caught two people in her sight. She felt her straight face tug to a smile. She walked over to them happily, her long ebony white/blonde hair floating behind her. Her usual emotionless and robotic brown eyes actually looked full of happiness as she approached the two people. She looked at the taller male, and then at the other female, her hair almost the same color as her own. She examined their faces, looking to seem if they had ears like her own, but no, they had normal human ears.., like Hideki! She smiled more and she examined the two further, she probably looked very strange to them. But that was was just Chii's way of becoming familiar with them. And of course, she would say the oddest things, but they were so sweet and innocent. Her smile matched her innocent words.
"Chii thinks you two are... interesting!" |

| Late..? Finne looked up the the guy in front of her. Her gaze was going around the place to see if he was talking to someone else but she saw they were alone and he really was talking to her. Then she smiled shyly to him. Why was he doing so formal. There was no need to do so. And it made her feel like a simple person "My name is Finne.." She said, her voice not more then a whisper when she said it and she looked to the ground like if there was something interesting on it.
"No I don't want to be alone.. I'm just lost I think.."She said before looking up to him for a second before her eyes looked around the room for a hint. She had really no idea of what she was doing here right now.
She opened her back before searching for something in it. Then she found a crumbled small paper and folded it open. A few things were in an almost unreadable handwriting and she noticed it was from her mom. It was a description of were she had her classes. She had chosen for art, drama and a few more but everything was written on the little paper. But she had a hard time to read it. Dammed, why does she needed to write it down so crappy.
Then she noticed that guy was still looking to her and she started to blush suddenly. "Uhm.." she just said to break the silence. She hated silences and now she was alone with him in this big room she really noticed the silence around her.
Like if it was on the right moment another girl walked to them and Finne gave her a small smile. The first thing she noticed about her was her 'ears..' they were looking funny, but she did not noticed right at the moment that it were her real ears. Finne noticed that she was starting to her and looked to the floor again. Still with the paper in her hand. She did not noticed she was crumbling it again in her hand because she was nerves

"My name is Finne.."
Fine, that was easy to remember. It wasn't really long or anything and only two syllables. He slowly nodded to himself as he stared at the girl. He didn't really say anything mainly because she wasn't sure on what to say. She was kind of quiet and it was kind of hard to hear her name so it was a good thing that he was close to her or else he might not have caught it and well he was raised not to ask for something twice as it was considered rude and he really rather not just call her 'you' or just that girl alone. It was another thing that he was raised not to do for the same reason as the first one. Really, most of the things he did was because he was trained by someone to do or not to it.
"No I don't want to be alone.. I'm just lost I think.."
She thinks? Well, Finne was certainly unsure of herself, but that could already been caught by her soft voice. He didn't really say anything though since he wasn't sure where she wanted to go. As she slowly got the piece of paper out, he tried to read it. He wasn't good at reading things upside down but that wasn't the only thing that stopped him. The handwriting was...bad to say the least. He could hardly read it no matter how hard he tried to. Maybe it was written in a different language, that would make sense after all since he couldn't make out any letters at all. Then again, the paper was crumbled as well and that didn't really help him read it. Could the girl read it?
His thoughts were interrupted when another student walked up to them. She was wearing something over her ears, some kind of near headphones? He wasn't exactly sure but he didn't say anything about it. He just stood there for a moment as he stared at her. She seems to be observing them as if they were the first humans she had ever laid eyes on. She looked like some kind of kid and well, it was really different from what he was used to but then again Finne was the same thing.
"Chii thinks you two are... interesting!"
Chii? Was that her name? Still he nodded quickly trying to make sure that it didn't look like he was nervous. Once again he took off his hat and made a bow to introduce myself."My name is Neku, nice to meet you Chii-san." he greeted. He quickly put the hat up along with the upper half of his body as he gave her a small smile. |

"Neku?"
Chii curiously looked at the male. Neku was his name, just like Hideki's was Hideki's! She smiled more, and happened to resemble a small child more and more. She jumped up a bit, and placed her hands together happily. She looked directly into Neku's golden eyes, her robotic brown ones actually looking full of emotion. She finally settled down after a while, and extended her arm towards the male. Her hand balled into a fist, except for her index finger. She was pointing at him. This was not unusual for anyone that knew Chii, but since the male did not know her, he probably would be lead to believe that she was just a little strange... okay, VERY strange. But she saw no problem with it as she continued to smile at him.
"Neku, Neku, Neku~! Chii will remember!"
She then drew her arm down, and her hand went limp. But she bowed politely at Neku. Why? Who knew, Chii was just all mixed up. It was surprising that she even knew night and day. She then shifted her focus to the female by them. She tilted her head as she examined her. Hey, they had the same hair color! But that really wasn't the point here. She moved to the other female, who was obviously not a persocom and looked at her. She looked like a doll. Hideki told her what dolls were, they were toys, and toys were what children played with, and children were young people. She smiled, she had remembered! She poked Finne lightly, and smiled widely.
"What is your name? Are you a doll? Hideki told Chii what dolls were."
She gave an oh-so-innocent smile. Really, she was pretty innocent. After all, she was just like a little kid in terms of her programing, she really couldn't function too well in normal society, and she was left guidance in a huge school. So she poked Finne once more, this time on her cheek. She was soft, like everyone else's cheeks. What she not a doll? Did dolls have soft cheeks or no? She had never really held a doll before, just seen them in windows when they went window shopping. But did dolls also always have the same hair color and skin? She was so confused and curious, so she poked the girl's cheeks a few more times. Yeah, just a little strange... [/size] |

She had seen alot of weard people, but this girl was really strange.She looked like someone from the same age but her behaving was like a little girl. When she was repeating Neku's name it really was looking funny and she coudn't help it and started to giggle alittle.
Finne did not knew if Chii really was like this or just playing and she still was looking with a smile to her, but that smile got whiped away fast enough when Chii talked to her. She was asking that Finne was a doll? She looked suprised and her cheecks turned red. "A doll?" She wisperd, making a nervous laughing giggle. "Afcourse i'm not a doll.." Doing a step behind her away from the girl who was poking her in her cheeck and she moved her hand to her cheeck. Almost like if she wanted to protect it for any more touching.
Then Finne noticed she had asked another question also. "My name is Finne.. "She wantef to say more like 'Nice to meet you..' but this girl was so strange.. Does she even wanted to meet her.Even if she was thinking like that, she would never let it notice and the small smile stayed on her face.

At Chii's excitement, Neku chuckled and nodded. Yeah, Neku, she'll probably remember that, it was an easy name to remember. Although why she was jumping around and acting like a child he wasn't exactly sure. Although he had to admit, he found it kind of cute like a little kid. Although he wasn't going to say that, it might sound rude and that was something he would really rather avoid. Besides, he didn't want her to look sad like that, sad faces isn't exactly something he can deal well. It was one of his many lists of weaknesses. Really if there was an actual list for it, all the trees in the world would have already been destroyed, that was how weak willed he was. At least that was what his twin had told him anyway.
As Finne introduced herself, he kind of just nodded as he waited for the girl's reaction. He just knew it was going to be interesting seeing how his was. Even more though was the fact Chii had poked the her calling her a doll. To which, Neku had to admit she did look like one. Those fragile dolls that his parents used to buy for his sister!

| Late..? "I'm not a doll.." She repeated herself. " I move, breath, talk..and I just don't look like a doll.." Finne said, not knowing that the other two were thinking different about that.
She never compared herself with a doll. Not with the one she always had. Those were half broken, dirty dolls. Why were they saying she was looking like a doll..
Her eyes moved from Neku and Chii. Chii was such an hyperactive person and even looked younger then she probably was.
And Neku. He really did not look like those rich childeren who were arrogant and mean like hell. Neku even looked nice, but a bit to formal. Chii also wasn't looking like a snob and she smiled for a moment. Glad she had meet two nice persons, and not those rich people. One they she should meet others but for now on the first day. It was okay..
