Amethyst eyes scanned the library, fellow students scattered about, either researching or reading their books amongst themselves. In the distance he spotted a study group, chatting together. How cute. He thought sarcastically, making his way down the center of the library, passing each group with slow steps. They all, naturally, stopped to stare- passing whispers back and forth to eachother.
Why is he dressed so weird? Why is his hair so long? -- He's kinda cute, actually, in a creepy way. -- Are his eyes naturally that color? -- Go pretend to bump into him and see what happens!! -- No, I might turn into a transvestite like him. -- What's his name?
He didn't even bother turning around, or even glancing their way. He was used to these kind of comments, whether it was in a school or any other random public place- more than anything, they amused him.. and only deepened his opinion that humans are closed minded idiots. He let out a slightly irritated sigh, turning into one of the rows of bookcases. He leaned against one of them, crossing his arms and staring ahead of him.
Catcher in the Rye.. what is this crap?
His eyes scanned further down the row, having absolutely no luck in finding something that caught his eye.
Romeo and Juliet.. sounds annoying..
He decided to give up on his search, since he figured no human written book was gonna interest him anyways. He closed his eyes for a moment, his slim figure still leaning against the shelves. Most people would've knocked them over, considering he was resting his entire weight upon it- but being the skinny thing he is, they didn't even budge. His arms were now crossed against his chest, as he moved his eyes towards the table across the aisle from him, which had a few students seated there.

"BOOKS, I LOVE BOOKS!"
Came a scream from one of the rows of bookshelves. If anyone bothered to trace the voice back, they would find a girl with sapphire blue hair with the eyes to match the color throwing books of a shelf. One book right after the other. It was like she was trying to make a home out of a pile of books. She would stop every once in a while, look at a book, make a face, then throw it in a pile. If one listened closely after the scream they would hear her bitch and complain about how none of the books were any good. Come on now, she needed something that was actually interesting! She made a face and sort of growled.
"Come on, this sucks! I hate boring books. What the hell is this, Harry Potter? He looks like my ten year old cousin that just hit puberty."
She chucked the book in the pile with the other rejected books, and kept looking. She would start to whimper as she found no good books what-so-ever. She wanted something to do! Well, maybe reading wasn't the best thing to keep a girls who's attention span was nothing but short, and acted like she was on a 24/7 sugar high, but what the hell! Before anyone knew it , more then half the books were off one part of the self. She then finally found the book she wanted, a book about a prince and a princess, yay! She held the book close and squeed loudly. The librarian had come over to shush her, and Kumiko didn't take that well. She picked up a random book from the pile, which happened to be Twilight, and chucked it at the librarian.
"Don't tell me to shhhh! Go back to Twilight you noob!"
She stuck her tongue out, and ran down and out of the row before the lady could see her. She then turned a corner, and into another row, and slammed right in to an oddly dressed male. She had fallen back on her butt from the impact. She groaned a little bit, then looked up at the male. Her innocent blue eyes met his amethyst eyes. Did she see any evil? ... Nope, he had green hair, he had to be a good guy! She didn't even bother to get up, she just smiled ever so widely at him... yeah, that probably wasn't creepy to him, no, not at all. And the more she sat there, the wider the smile grew.
"I am sorry! The librarian lady hag thingy shushed me and I through a book at her and I ran and I ran into you which probably disturbed your reading experience so I am sorry and you should continue with your education reading!"

His eyes shifted over to the source of the new sound, which he identified to be female.. and very enthusiastic. However, he didn't move yet, listening to the girl as she went on about the books she came across. This is a nice change atleast, in this room full of zombies. Thump. Thump. Thump. Went the books, piling on top of eachother. He decided to climb up on the bookcase, curiosity finally getting the better of him. His eyebrow raised, as each book flew in the air a few rows down.
And before he knew it, he was down on the ground.
"Gah!! Does anybody have a braincell around here?!"
He exclaimed, before looking to see who it was. His bright eyes shot across the floor to the girl, who he was now at eye level with. He blinked. As they looked at eachother for a moment, her smile seemed to grow wider. He still blinked. Atleast this one doesn't look completely mindless. He brushed himself off, standing up now. He studied her for a moment before replying to what she said, curiosity still stirring inside of him. She looked.. innocent. And a bit childish. This could be interesting.
"Hah... reading?"
He paused for a moment.
"Education?"
He tapped his chin.
"I think you might've gotten the wrong impression of me, dear.."
He extended his hand to help her off the ground. He had a light smirk on his face, the one which always seemed to be displayed across his porcelain features. Might as well be somewhat polite to the seemingly only interesting person in this entire room. Otherwise, he'll just be back to square one- watching idiot humans talk amongst themselves about crap they don't even understand.
"Envy."
He simply stated, offering his name.

"Hm?"
Kumiko looked up at Envy strangely. He wasn't reading, at all, not even for education? Then what the hell was he doing just standing in a row like that? Well, she wasn't one to be asking questions, she was chucking books across a row after all. She just stared up at Envy some more. He was very exotic looking, with the green palm tree hair, it seemed like the male uniform didn't fit him in a way, making him look a bit goofy. But she wasn't one to judge, to her he actually looked cool anyways! Her eyes then wandered to his hand that was no extended to her. She smiled wide and accepted the gesture, grabbing his hand with her own and using it to pull herself off the ground.
"Oh, Envy is it, like the sin right? Oh, pardon my manners, my name is Kumiko, but you can call me Kumi if you like!"
She continued to smile as she brushed off her skirt and the rest of her outfit. She felt so dirty when she fell on the ground. She stopped doing that, and felt her eyes wander back to Envy. She was captivated...with his hair! It was so cool! She knew she had some odd hair, it was blue after all, but his hair looked like a Florida palm tree! She tried to resist the urge to touch his hair, but no long could she fight it. She felt her right arm extended up, and she reached for his hair, grabbing a strand without standing on her tip toes. She must have looked weird.
"I am sorry, but your hair is just so cool, it's really unique! Is this natural? It can't be natural."
She continued to feel his hair, running it between her finger. Well, one thing was certain, his hair didn't feel like a a palm tree. She eventually let the strand go and brought her arm and hand back to her side. She just smiled childishly at Envy before looking at him again curiously. She then looked at his eyes, they were also an exotic color. She liked pretty thing, a bit too much actually, so she had to resist the urge to poke him in the eye to touch the prettiness that was his eye color. She held her hand together and kept it on her chest. She nodded her head a bit.
"Your eyes are pretty too, you defiantly have to be wearing contacts, I have never seen natural eyes like that."

What seemed to spark his interest the most was her relentless smiling. He had never seen somebody like that. Was it genuine or was it some kind of mask? Was she stupid or just happy? He couldn't figure it out. She seemed like a nice girl. She seemed corruptible. But something also seemed trustworthy, and worth spending time talking to; by now, Envy would've usually ended the conversation and gone on his way. If it had been a different human, he probably would've thrown her across the room for bumping into him. But it just didn't seem right.
At the sin comment, his eyes shifted to the side and an eyebrow raised, a slight grin creeping up the right corner of his mouth.
"Yes, I am indeed named after the sin.."
He said slowly. He simply nodded at her name, before moving his eyes back to the blue-haired girl once more. He took notice to the attention she was paying to his hair, which was also completely normal, and which he usually just ignored. However, unlike every other time, the girl's hand started inching towards his hair. He blinked, crossing his arms for a moment, but still let the girl's fingers touch his strand of hair. He smirked conceitedly.
"Oh, it is all natural~"
He boasted, as her fingers finally fell from his hair. He twirled it between his fingers now, stepping away from her and turning her back towards her. He did enjoy compliments, and well, he wasn't going to sugarcoat it- He knew he was attractive. As he said himself, this is his cute form. Hearing the comment about his eyes, he let the hair loose between his fingers and turned his head towards her.
"My eyes, huh? Yeah, they're natural too."
He halfway turned towards her now, his hands on his hips in his famous stance, looking away in the distance for a moment. Well.. natural in the form I wish to be. Natural as in nothing like Hohenheim. He turned towards her now, her bright eyes still focused his way. He squinted his eyes for a moment.
"Say.."
Before he would finish his sentence, he heard a few people loudly step inside the library. What happened, ma'am? -- Well, this girl was making a ruckus in the library, so I told her to quiet down.. and she threw a book at me! -- Are you okay, ma'am? -- No, I am not okay! She must be reported to the principal right away! She went down that aisle! -- Okay ma'am, we'll take care of it. Envy's eyes slowly made their way back to hers, an eyebrow raised.

"All natural? That's cool!"
Kumiko's eyes glittered like stars as she looked at Envy. He seemed to be very full of his looks in the way he was acting, and if she were him she would be the same way. She was going to comment on the school uniform didn't seem to fit him, but she kept that comment all to herself, it was school policy after all and he could get in trouble for taking off his uniform and wearing regular clothes. Speaking of trouble, she heard the same voices Envy did. She froze like a statue, and her skin as pale as marble to match her frozen state. She muttered to herself for a moment, then spoke her discontent for the situation out loud.
"Oh son of a bitch. I threw the book at the old lady cause she told me to be quiet, when I don't think I was even that loud."
She was going to say her good-byes to Envy when she saw two men turn into the aisle. Kumiko eeped really loud, but stood motionless in front of Envy, hoping for a miracle, that maybe they wouldn't see her. She had to try after all. But the two men were looking right in her direction, she wasn't hard to pick out, after all she did have odd blue colored hair. They stalked towards her and Envy, mainly towards her, and Kumiko knew she had to run. She would not go to the principles office for something this stupid. She wasn't making that much noise, and beside the woman was an old hag anyways. She would not allow the old woman.
"It was really nice meeting you Envy, but I think my time here has to be cut short. I hope we can meet again one day, you seem really interesting."
She smiled up at him, once more grabbing on to his hair and playing with it for a few seconds before the men were getting dangerously close. Kumiko then let go of his hair, giving him yet another heartwarming smile, and she started to take steps further and further away as the men drew closer and closer. But as she kept taking steps back there were guys behind her that she almost knocked in to. She gasped, and she looked frantically for a way out as she tried to get away. As she tried to run, one of the men grabbed her arm and pulled her back. In a vicious attempt to get away, she bit the guys arm. He screamed and let her go, giving her time to run. But she ran right into the corner of a bookshelf, and she fell on her back once again. She was screwed now.

And that's when the men turned down the aisle, talking amongst themselves. They paused for a moment, then pointed in Envy and Kumi's direction and sped up their walking. Envy said nothing as she muttered to herself, not knowing what she planned on doing exactly and decided she'd probably been in these kind of situations before, so she knew what she was going to do. His eyes darted back to her as she spoke once more, nodding in agreement to what she said.
And then she touched his hair again. And he gave her a blank stare. Again.
"You might wanna start running instead of playing with my hair."
He said sarcastically, and a few seconds later thats exactly what she did, and the men rushed past him. He put his hands in his pockets, before slowly turning around and making his way towards the door. All of the study groups, which stared at him before, now had their attention on the scene which was going on behind him. Then, thud. He stopped. ...What the hell was that? He turned his head, his eyes shooting directly down the aisle next to him; which was where Kumi was cornered, and the men we're running towards her.
"Well... fuck."
He said to nobody, before breaking into a run towards the men. He grabbed one with each hand, and threw them back across the room. The third one he dramatically shoved into the bookcase, making it fall over and crash into the next. Envy didn't wait to see if it would have a domino effect- but ran over to Kumi. He grabbed her, threw her on his back and started towards the door.
Get back here!! What are your names?! I'll report you to the Principal's office!! Screamed the librarian, but Envy didn't even take a moment to glance, and ran straight out the door with Kumi on his back.
"Incase you haven't noticed, we're gonna have to hide for a few now." He said calmly, running down the hall with the blue-haired girl on his back. "Where should we go?" What a pair they must've looked like; a green-haired palm tree looking boy, with a blue-haired hyper girl.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Kumiko had screamed at the top of her lungs as the men had approached her. She kept her eye completely shut, refusing to open them as she was sure the men had her, she was in so much trouble now. She heard the grunts and screams of the men, and she felt herself beind boosted up. She was afraid to see if one of the men was carrying her and she was hoovering above the ground. After a while she noticed whoever had her was running, and then the person spoke. "Incase you haven't noticed, we're gonna have to hide for a few now." She noticed the voice and her eyes went right open. It was Envy, and she was on his back.
"ENVY!"
She exclaimed, and wrapped her arms around his neck, not too tight though. She then looked up to see where they were going. That was good question, where should they go? She didn't know, she had never been in too much trouble before in her two years here. She squeaked as she tried to decide which direction to go. She looked down every sing hallway they ran by, where to go, where to go?! She frantically tried to pick a place. They had to go somewhere the men wouldn't know where to look, some place with not too many people. So no cafeteria and no going outside...but wait, she had a brilliant idea!
"Go to the Forest of Light, they won't bother to look there!"
She held on to Envy tightly as he continued running. It would be a few minutes before they were to arrive in the forest. It wasn't far from where they were right outside the library area. She watched as everything beside her went pretty fast, Envy must have like worked out or something, she didn't know anyone with this kind of speed. She looked out for anyone following them, though she was sure by now they were at a loss of where to look for them. It sounded like Envy had did a number on them. She then thought some more. But what if it did take too long for them to get there and they got caught? She then leaned next to his left ear.
"Or you can hide in one of the many empty classrooms down on of these hallways, these classes are done for the day, so they won't bother to check there."

The Library.
Reading was not much of Piccolo's thing, but hey, a little bit in the books should not hurt. Obviously, nothing was really going to interest him, but the school was still setting up and he taught P.E. He might as well work on reading and whatnot.
With his white cape flowing around with each step, Piccolo finally made it to the library entrance. He pushed the door open, holding his constant emotionless face. His simple eyes darted from left to right. His pointed ears hearing into this odd commotion about a student throwing a book at the Librarian.
"Huh?"Was all he could muster at the moment. Looking deeper into the Library, he found people scurrying around, dodging corners and people alike. "*sigh*" Piccolo crossed his arms and made his way inside. Before to much else happened, down a few more steps, a sudden domino effect began to occur at the major book shelves. "What the?" Piccolo picked up his pace only to find some school workers being completely knocked out or in pain.
Instinctively, his eyes darted to the door only to see a taller, oddly dressed boy and a young blue haired girl rushing out the door. He grinned ever so slightly. "Not that easily, you wont." With swift movement, Piccolo flashed away from where he stood only to now be in the hallway. Watching the two of them running quite quickly. They needed yo be stopped. It would not be fair to others if they were not punished for being... well.. whatever. Piccolo slowly hovered from the ground and in a swift motion sped off after them. One more turn and he paused only to be in front of them. At this time, his speed was really unmatched. He was not in the best of moods and he was willing to stop rude students...
His constant glaring eyes peered at the two. His arms crossed over his chest and he let out a calm sigh. "Just where do you two think you're going..?" He informed in his deep voice.

At her suggestion of going into an empty classroom, he nodded in agreement and started heading towards the history classroom. Why would anybody go there? It's not like most people liked being in there, so most dart out the door the second the bell rings. He took his speed up a notch and started to head towards the classroom, until a tall, large green man appeared before them. Envy immediately slammed on his heels like a dog, grabbing Kumi's sides for a few seconds so she wouldn't slide off. His hands then fell to his sides, as he looked up at the man with his piercing amethyst eyes.
"Where are we going?.."
Envy repeated, looking off to the side for a moment. What's a good excuse? Should I just try to run away? Give in? No, i'm sure as hell not giving in.. His eyes darted around quickly for a few moments, before letting Kumi off of his back and straightening his posture. His hands were now crossed against his chest, as he calmly and confidently spoke to the teacher.
"We were getting away from all of the commotion, you see.. The place sounded like a war zone! So we figured we'd get out of the way.."
He looked over to Kumi now, expecting her to nod in agreement, and then turned his head back to Piccolo. His eyes drifted towards the windows, which gave view to the beautiful outside, and to the Forest of Light. His eyes then met Picollo's once more.
"We figured we'd take a nice walk through the forest, yknow, it's a nice day out.."
He grabbed Kumi's hand quickly and started to slowly inch away from him.
"So sorry, we gotta go!"
And with that he broke into a powerwalk, still holding onto Kumi's hand, incase they'd have to run once more. But hopefully this teacher would get off their back.

Kumiko grabbed on tightly when Envy had come to a halt. She felt his grab her sides to prevent her from falling. She was confused at first, she hadn't been paying attention to what was in front of them. She looked at the tall green man, and she was immediately frightened, not by the fact they may have been caught, but just by his looks. She had never seen anyone like that before, and he reminded her from a monster out of a horror film. Her face pale from fear, she felt herself being placed on her feet by Envy. When Envy looked at her after making the bogus excuse, she nodded and bowed down in politely to the teacher, she was too cute and innocent not to believe, she really wasn't capable of doing much harm, other then throwing books and biting, and really she hadn't meant to hurt anyone when she threw the book, and she only bite the man cause she was in mid panic. But she went along with Envy's excuse
"Yes, we heard a commotion, and I am not very good with commotion you see. When I hear someone yelling I have full on panic attacks, and I started to have a panic attack when the men started screaming, and my friend Envy had to get me out of there as fast he could or I would have passed out from hyperventilation. "
She was about to agree with Envy's statement about wanting to talk a walk through the forest, but she was cut off when Envy grabbed her hand and broke into a powerwalk. She blinked, at first confused, but realized he was trying to get away. She sighed a very silent breath of relief. She had meant to say sorry to the teacher for bothering him, but by the time she was about ready to turn around and say something they were a pretty good distance from him and she decided it wasn't worth turning back and screaming an an apology for leaving to the teacher. She decided to look up at Envy, still shocked by the man's appearance.
"That teacher scares me, he looks like he came out of a horror film, we should get to the forest quick Envy-chan."
Kumiko kept a tight grip on Envy's hand as she followed him outside on the way to the Forest of Light. They had to get there before the teacher caught on to them. She silently prayed that he would just go away and leave them alone, because if he came after them and forced them to try and confess, Kumiko would have to have a full on panic attack, and that wasn't hard to do. She watched at the forest came closer and closer in to view. She could taste freedom, it was like the taste of a forbidden fruit she could not eat, but she could taste it anyways just by looking at it. They were so close, and before they knew it they were approaching the entrance of the forest. They had reached the forbidden fruit, aka freedom. She would follow Envy into the forest and wherever he decided to hide in there.
[This topic is now closed and will resume in the forest]
