Naoko ran about the medical building, passing things on, sending notes and checking students. The errands were easy, the tasks mindless, and since he was in and out of the storage room, Naoko could easily snatch some medical supplies and stuff them into his backpack. There was no real reason for him wanting the supplies, he took them just in case. The boy grinned to himself, a nasty sort of expression the was anything but pleasant. He tossed his head as he walked, returning to the nurse who'd asked him to fetch the box of gauze. He wasn't there because he really wanted to be, what he was after were the volunteer credits he got for helping out for a few hours. Granted, he hadn't been at the school long, but he wanted to make a good impression.
The boy nearly sneered as the nruse thanked him for the supplies and sent him away to work on something else. "Thank you,ma'am." The nurse had said. He'd been confused for a girl the whole time he was here, but he didn't bother with correcting anyone. It didn't matter to him as long as they signed that slip of paper that gave him is credit. It was pretty slow for the most part, hardly any students were there, moaning about their owwies. Naoko was glad about that. He hated listening to people complain, he'd give them something to complain about. The boy hummed cheerily despite his dark thoughts. Oh how he imagined himself going around beating someone with a bat or something like that. The eerie crunch of bones beneath the skin, the spray of blood at every swing...
Oh, no.. Naoko was a good boy, he would never do anything like that. If anything he'd hurt himself before anyone else. With a sigh he checked the clock. He'd gotten quite a few hours in today, that was good. That just meant he could do less tomorrow. Naoko stretched and wanderd to the head nurse and asked for her signature so he could get back to the Academy. It wasn't late, yet and ehe iddn't want to have wasted his day in the medical building. Besides, he wanted to store away all the goodies he managed to gather up. A roll of gauze, a roll of medical tape, some disinfectant. They were all in very small amounts, but when he was done with his volunteer hours, he should gather quite the stash. Once he got the signature he went to sit outside. His back against the brick of the building, facing the school. He was technically still a 'new kid' and he had yet to make any 'friends'.
That didn't bother him, he was sure he'd get his flock of people once he became more familiar with the different crowds. That's right. Who wouldn't want to be friends with such a nice boy.. Or girl. Whatever they decided to think he was. He smiled pleasantly at the hill, the green grass discolored by the late sunlight. It was nice, he could stay out here for a while.

As Kagome wandered the campus, dazed and searching for something to do, she tried not to think about her arm. It was hurting, badly, and still hadn't stopped bleeding.
See, Kagome wasn't exactly the most graceful girl. She had just finished her last class, and was carrying her books back to her room. As she approached the outside door to the dorm, she had been distracted. Which was nothing new, as it had been happening a lot lately. But this time, her absentmindedness had led to injury. Kagome had reached with her sort-of free hand for the door handle to open it- which she managed to do. However, as soon as she stepped over into the building, her foot caught on the threshold.
As she had fallen, Kagome didn't scream like a normal girl would. In fact, since she was so used to falling, she nearly rolled her eyes and sighed. But she did give a small scream as she hit the floor and pain shot up her arm. "Ah!"
Picking herself up off of the floor, Kagome then gathered her books back into her arms and mentally shook herself. Another day, another trip-and-fall. She had sighed, not appreciating the predictability of clumsiness on her part. When she reached her room, Kagome opened the door and stepped in, quickly closing the door. She had dumped her books on the bed... and then had noticed a dark, sticky substance all over them and herself. This time she did roll her eyes.
Kagome had rushed to find a towel, a washcloth, anything to stanch the flow of blood from the slice in her arm. She searched through her books for the culprit, and found what she was looking for. A hardcover textbook for science, of all things... it had a lot more blood and a little bit of skin on one corner. She shook her head.
However, Kagome had not found anything to wrap her arm with to put pressure on the wound. A paper towel would have to suffice until she could get proper medical attention... The girl quickly changed out of her bloody uniform and donned some street clothes so as to not have such a gruesome appearance. Clapping the paper towel to the still freely-flowing gash, Kagome had left the dorm (which she didn't realize she had left a nice trail of blood all over).
Which brought her to where she was now. She was growing dazed by loss of blood, as it couldn't be stopped, and she was afraid she had somehow nicked an artery. The spurt of blood wasn't steady, which would have been a vein cut, but instead was just that- a spurting. Kagome began to get light-headed, and was extraordinarily thankful that she didn't have an aversion to blood- otherwise she'd be passed out by now.
As she staggered closer to the medical building, she noticed a boy sitting outside... and promptly fainted right at his feet.

Paper cuts...
"I HATE PAPER CUTS!" An annoyed voice cried out. A young teen held his right hand, keeping his thumb to the right pointer finger. His face showed an eerie glare, noticing he might get some nasty blood all over his suit. His perfect suit. He was not going to let that happen. Not for a long shot.
He was at running speed to get to the medical building to try and get a band aid. "Of all the one times I did NOT bring any band aids, Now I need one?! Ugh!" He hissed to himself, passing and dodging other students on the way. He was in a somewhat mad dash. He felt the cut sting more and more as the seconds went by. He did his best not to show to much pain, but this was to much.
FINALLY, he saw the building and a side of joy met with Kid's face. "The Gods are singing now of my victory!" He rushed inside, not really noticing the person sitting on the bench near by. A few minutes later and Death the Kid comes out with a tight band aid on his right pointer finger. "Phew." He sighed deeply and looked around. His eyes met with the kid who he had not met before. Sure, this was Kid's first year here.. maybe he should learn not to make such a big deal about these things....
Oh it's hard enough for him as it is. Anyhow, he looked to the kid and shoved his hands to his pocket, hiding the fact he had a band aid. "Uhm... sorry you had to see that..." Kid apologized, not really looking at the boy. Embarrassment was something he always had trouble with. Before to long, though, a beautiful young girl made her way to where they were sitting. She seemed weak, somewhat. Kid tilted his head to her then looked to the ground. Blood.
"HOLY!!-" He was about to help her up but it was to late, she fell to the ground by the boy's feet. Knocked out. "Dammit..! She needs help!" Kid cried out and knelt down to her side.

Naoko had taken a book out of his bag and started to read, letting time slip by. He didn't want to go back to his room just yet, the weather was really nice. The short bursts of gentle breeze, and the dimming light of the sun made the scenery beautiful. Naoko was enjoying the solitude. It lasted for a good few chapters of his novel, the silence suddenly broken. A particularly noisy boy had rushed into the building, bringing Naoko back into reality. He checked his watch, wondering how long he'd been sitting there, ignoring the loud passer by. He didn't need to acknowledge the stranger, chances were he'd never seen the kid again, and he didn't care to. Not with the way he'd seen him act. Closed his book and placed it neatly on his lap, his eyes following the kid as he ran inside, unamused. He really didn't care for people, especially not noisy people. Naoko simply wrinkled his nose, and leaned back to stretch. It wasn't as if he was directly addressed by the other boy, and that was a good thing. He pushed his glasses higher up onto his nose and put the novel away. He didn't want to be around when the other boy would come out of the building.
Naoko stood, his bag in hand, and glanced up to the school. Someone else was approaching. This time it was girl. Naoko wouldn't have given it a second thought if her walking didn't seem so.. strained. He stood there, watching her. The boy that had run into the building before reappeared and apologized to him for the scene he made. Naoko turned and looked at him, then smiled sweetly. He didn't want to appear cold, but wasn't willing to actually say anything, so nodded wordlessly, accepting the needless apology.
Naoko turned back around, the girl had gotten much closer, as she neared Naoko had realized what was going on, and his eyes widened slightly. Behind her was a neat little trail of blood, and she was cradling one of her arms. The girl had seriously hurt herself. Once she was close, Naoko watched as she fell at his feet. He stood there for a moment, wide-eyed, unsure whether he should laugh or go get help. The boy near him had decided that for him, however. Already shouting and going to the girl's side. Was the noise really that necessary? Naoko knew that he had all the things required to patch the girl up in his bag, but he wasn't about to waste them on someone else. He didn't know this girl, and he wasn't fond of thankless acts. "I'll get a nurse." Naoko said softly and turned to the building. He bowed his head and smiled as he entered the cold building. The cruel child inside of him finding the whole situation quite funny. He quickly blanked his expression and ran to the front desk, a more panicked expression taking over his face. "There's a girl who passed out outside, and she's bleeding really bad. We need someone's help!" He watched as a few people scrambled together and he ran back outside, leading them to the girl. He stood back as they swarmed, displeased. So much fuss.. All he wanted to do was go back to his room and read..

Kagome came to with a groan... where was she? Oh, yeah. On the lawn in front of the medical building. She had passed out from a loss of blood, she guessed, eying the trail of red liquid leading to her arm from the dorm. She sighed and looked at her arm, to inspect and investigate. It was a good thing that the girl wasn't squeamish, otherwise she would've passed out again! The gash was jagged, and deep. It seemed to have pretty much stopped bleeding... but the sun glinted off of the dark red liquid that seeped into the ground- and there was a lot of it.
Then she became aware of someone kneeling over her. He looked to be a little older than her. And he was yelling... it sounded faint to her ears. Something about someone being hurt? Oh, yeah. Her. She sighed again and tried to sit up.
Bad idea. Kagome nearly passed out again with the effort, and she felt a fresh spurt of blood pour from her cut. Shaking her head, she lifted it slightly, trying again to lift her body off of the ground. She didn't like feeling helpless! As she was able to look around now, she saw the back of another kid run into the building, yelling for some help... like the kid who was still kneeling over her. She looked up into his face, trying to say "I'm fine," but it sounded weak even to her own ears, and she wasn't really fine. In fact, her arm started to hurt even more. It hurt like hell. "Dammit," she cursed quietly under her breath, wishing she wasn't so clumsy. Then she wouldn't have to get into crappy situations like this.
Spotting the blood-drenched paper towel lying near her, Kagome lifted it and pressed it back onto her arm, not caring that it had bits of grass on it. She knew she needed to get the bleeding stopped. Hopefully a nurse would arrive soon, and she could get herself taken care of by someone who knew what they were doing.

She had hurt someone again... This time she felt really bad about it.
Prae was just wandering in the halls of the academy when suddenly she saw a first year being bullied by those snobbish bastards who were, supposedly, her classmates in the fourth year and they were tormenting the poor kid. This angered Prae because she hated seeing those who were younger than her getting bullied.
She walked over to the group and confronted them. They argued for a bit but suddenly Prae lashed out in anger at them by reaching foward, attemting to hurt them with her nails. The fourth years quickly used the first year as shield, thus, making her scratch the first year.
The scratch marks on his face seemed pretty deep due to the blood dripping out of it. The boy's face was stricken with fear as well as the fourth years which made them retreat.
Prae was worried and quickly said this,"I-I'll go get some bandages!" She ran towards the area where the medical building was and slowed down due to the sight she saw.
There was a group of people outside, huddled around someone. She quickly scanned who was there. A boy was kneeling down near someone, someone coming out of the medical building with a few more people and a girl on the ground... And some parts of the ground had dark stains.
Wait... Was that blood?
Without anymore thoughts or hesitation, Prae quickly ran over to the group and asked this as she panted slightly,"I-Is s-she alright?" She looked down to the ground where the girl was and saw her pressing a blood-stained towel onto her arm. No. She wasn't alright at all.

Death the Kid stayed by the girls side. He saw her cut and began to panic a bit more than usual. "Oh my god..." He twitched looking at it. It was so... chopped and messed up. Much different then his little paper cut. MUCH different. Just what the hell was this girl doing earlier..?
Seriously..
Soon enough, the other boy got some help and a few nurses rushed out with cleaning supplies and one sent two stronger nurses to get a bedding for her to rest in while they try to fix her. They needed to get her inside. Kid looked up to the boy who got them. It seemed he did not want to really be here. Interesting. Whatever the case, he was here. Kid looked back tot he girl who was getting a decent amount of attention now.
Slowly, Kid got to his feet. The sight of another came to his vision and he raised a brow to her. Seemed she cared about her too. She got some towels while the other nurses came back with a stretcher. He nodded. She was going to get help. Kid heard the girl mumble and make some movement, but she was so messed up right now. She was most likely dizzy from loss of blood.
"Stay still." He spoke to her, hoping she could hear him. He made out the words "I'm fine." in all her mumbling, but she was not fine at all. "They're going to help you now. Don't worry." Kid was unsure why he felt all caring all of a sudden, but it seemed this girl bit off more then she could chew.
She was moved onto the stretcher and into the medical house.
An hour or two later. --------------------------------------
Kid came back by the medical hospital to see how the bloodied patient was doing. He made it to her room and saw she was decent. Out for the moment, but her wound was wrapped up for the moment. At lest it was wrapped in a straight way. He sighed and had some dark chocolate that he took with him from home. it was a sort of healing chocolate. Sure it did not work immediately, but it was good enough. He figured it'd help her more then him. He set the small box of chocolates on the little table beside her bed. He saw her move a little and gave her a smile.
"Ah, how are you feeling?" He asked calmly.

Great, Kagome thought to herself, more spectators. Including a dark-haired girl who had just run up, who upon seeing all the blood started stammering. She sighed, still splayed out on the ground, her bright red blood still seeping into the grass. At least it had kinda stopped a little bit again... or not... with a raise of her eyebrows, Kagome's head became fuzzy, and her vision blurred; as her senses spun around in confusion, she felt herself being lifted onto a stretcher and wheeled, she hoped, into the medical building. Then she blacked out again.
_______________________________
Much later, Kagome came to again. Man, she seemed to be fainting quite a bit at this school- first in the pool with Will (the memory made her blush), and now because she nearly killed herself by getting sliced open on a book corner. Dammit, school was not supposed to be this stressful! Oh, hang it all, she thought. There's no way I can prevent this, so I might as well just get used to it.
A soft knock on the door brought her attention back to the present. The student with asymmetrical stripes in his hair was standing at the entrance to her room, a look of askance on his face. He stepped in hesitantly, then made his way over to the bed were she was lying. She watched him set a curious box down on the bedside table, and thought she smelled some fine dark chocolates... Kagome licked her lips in anticipation. She did love chocolate.
In response to his question as to how she was feeling, she responded "I'm fine now, thank you. I appreciate your help. You didn't... didn't stress out too much, did you? I mean, there was a lot of blood... and I really wouldn't want you to freak out over me. I'm really fine, now." She thought of the blood that was sure to be all over her dorm room. With a sigh, she resolved to clean it up later.
