[Your Lord and Master]

A young girl wearing the familiar school uniform sat in the back of the library,her knees up to her chest as she sat near a window.A book was open on a page about a princess who had met her prince in secret,they we're planning to run away with eachother and live happily ever after.But there was a evil queen who wanted to seperate them,fantasy it helped the young girl get away from the real world and just forget everyone.Besides she had always been kept out of the light,was mostly home schooled and barely went out of the mansion back home.There had been a few times where she would sneak out to a bookstore,or to see Yugi and his friends also Sam and Kumiko.

She was like a fragile soul caught in the hands of fate,a frail body that could crumble at the slightest touch.But she was also strong and so was her spirit,having a illness where she needed to have blood transfusions almost everyday but if she kept her energy up she didn't need them.She had a illness where her body could not produce blood to her heart fast enough,so she often had coughing fits,dizziness and often passes out.

Pushing that aside she looked out the window,her knees sliding down slowly and the book landing with a loud thud on the ground.Her thoughts returned her to the real world,as she leaned over and grabbed the book looking back to the page she had been on.Would she ever find her prince charming,someone who could care about her for her.

She saw some students glance her way,a few glaring and whispering low words.Frowning slightly she looked back down the pages of the book,and closed her eyes just wanting to be whisked away and meet a secret prince.Yes a prince of her own,but was there such a thing.

The Library seemed like a decent place to get SOME peace and quiet. It was Ciel's first day here and he was informed Sebastian would be in Home Ec later in the day. For now, Ciel was on how own.

Oh Joy.

The boy with the eye patch made his way into the library. Not really fond of the school uniform, but he learned to deal with it. Looking down some of the isles, Ciel found a book that interested him. Taking it slowly from the shelf, he moved to where the tables were. That seemed to be the most crowded place, but Ciel chose to ignore the crowds. Sitting down, he placed the book down gently and opened up the first page.

A noise of a book hitting the floor near him cause him to jump only slightly. He looked to her and tilted his head. Getting from his seat, leaving the book open in place he moved to the girl who seemed to be quite shy. Others were talking amongst themselves. It seemed the girl was the topic for the time being. She was the topic on Ciel's mind as well. He moved to her and with little hesitation asked, "Are you ok? Do you need help?"

Selena could barely hear the voice of the young student,since her eyes we're closed and her mind elsewhere.It was only when she opened her eyes again and saw the boy beside her did she jump in surprise,again the book had slid off her knees and landed with a huge thud on the ground.And again the heads of some students turned towards her,she had no friends in this school except her cousins but that was about it.Her blue eyes seemed to just stare at the younger boy in front of her,he was so cute and very handsome.She blushed and realized that the faint voice she heard must have been his,what to say in a situation like this since no one talks to her except Rikka but all she thinks is that she is a brat.

"I'm fine,but why are you talking to me.Everyone usually avoids me,or whispers things about me".

Selena hated being treated like a outcast,the only other people besides Rikka she has met was her roommate that Envy person.And he had the gull to throw her things everywhere,when younger and her uncle was alive she was the talk of all of Domino.Going to fancy parties and meeting people,often people would ask if she would take over the company but her uncle said no that his adopted son would take over.At that time Selena had been confused,after all her only blood relative Noah was killed.

"I'm first year Selena Kaiba,if your curious".

Her blue eyes we're now back to looking out the window,then went to her knees.She began to fidget with her skirt not wanting to look up at him,would he hate her like everyone else in this academy or would she finally meet a friend.

Ciel raised his left brow at the girl's reply to his question. She was fine...but why was he talking to her? Ciel was confused for the moment. He stared towards her for a moment, but jumped ever so slightly at the sound of the book hitting the floor once more. He let out a sigh and went over to pick it up. He placed it in font of the girl on the table. "Maybe it'd be best if the book stays on the table here." He smiled, barely to her ans moved to her side. He tilted his head ever so slightly and looked around seeing everyone's eyes staring to the two of them. "Hmm."

He hummed then looked back to Selena. "I don't know what you mean by your question. just figured you may need help. Is that going to be a problem?" He informed calmly, his one eye focused on her two bright ones. He watched the girl. She seemed to be shy. Why? Ciel was confused, but disliked seeing someone like her to be so...sad looking. She spoke of her name then turned to look out the window.

"Ah, I'm Ciel Phantomhive, First Year as well. A pleasure to meet you, Miss Selena." With this, he gave a small bow. Sure, it was different for him to be doing stuff like this. it was more in Sebastian's isle, but Ciel felt this girl needed some kind of person to talk to. At least for the moment.

"No nevermind.....".

Why was he confused by her question,it was just a simple one.Why was he talking to her when no one else would,she never needed any help in the first place all she had been doing was drifting her gaze into the distance and pretending she was in one of the many fantasy books that she read.Selena always pretended she was the princess or the heroine in the books,and that the prince had come to save her but then she would wake up and be back in the real world where those kind of fantasies didn't exsist.

When he introduced himself and bowed in such a proper way,she felt a little embarassed.It was like he was treating her like a real princess,and she didn't want that she didn't want that kind of proper greeting.And being called miss was even worse,it really did make her feel like she was some type of royalty.True she came from a rich family but she tryed to act as normal as possible,but when Seto and Mokuba we're around she couldn't.

"Please just call me Selena,it's a pleasure to meet you Ciel".

Ciel nodded as she spoke of never minding it. Ok Sure, but he was still a bit confused by the girl's question. Was it wrong for him to talk to her? For soe reason, he felt no issue with her, maybe it was the other way around.

Did she dislike him for talking with her. His mind started popping out all these random questions. Got really annoying after a minute or so..

He heard her speak once more. Seems she did not like the way he called her miss. Seems he was picking up after Sebastian. He chuckled mentally and let a small smile meet on his face.

"Alright, Selena." He nodded once more and stood up straight. His hands locked behind his back and looked to Selena for a moment. He let silence fill the area for a moment, then spoke up quietly,

"Why do you sit all by yourself?"

"Well I don't have any friends,as you could probably tell most of the kids here are rich".

But why should that matter to her she came from a rich family,even though her father wanted her to live a normal life.Her uncle always argued with her father about why he lived so far away,why he never accepted any money or wanted to be his partner.Everytime she overheard them they never got along,but she was always led away by her mother before she could hear anymore.But she heard that her father wanted to keep her away from the type of life her uncle had,that he wanted her to have a normal life like any child wanted.

"I've heard what other's say about me,that i'm just some frail littl......".

She turned her face away looking in the other direction,Selena never wanted anyone to know what state she was in.But somehow it had gotten around the academy,even Rikka makes fun of her which she hates.She had a strong soul and barely showed her weak side to anyone,this is why no one talks to her because they think she's a spoiled brat who has to be taken care of by her older cousin.Looking back at Ciel just maybe she could finally have a friend,could he be her prince she has been waiting for.

"I like fantasy books,do you read".

Ciel blinked a little as the girl mentioned there being mostly rich kids. It was true. Ciel was one of them. He nodded shortly and held a straight face. His brow went into an angle as the girl informed him as to what the others speak of her. He bent down a little to try and get some eye contact with her.

"Wh- Why do you listen to them? I ignore those who make fun of me. I've been called a pirate way more than once today. Just ignore those idiots. They don't know what they're talking about." Ciel spoke up and moved to sit in the seat next to her.

"I know we just met and everything, but you seem...different to me. Nicer then the others." He informed her, still holding a small smile. "As time keeps moving, keep your head up high and expect the best...." As Ciel spoke, he mentally slapped himself. He was acting like a total hypocrite. He totally doesn't what he just told Selena. It was sad, but it was told to him before. He figured it'd help her in some why.

A small silence met with the air, but it quickly went back into communication as Selena asked what books he liked. He looked up and thought for a moment. "Hmm... Science fiction, Horror... the unique and different stories. Fiction is always a fun one to read. Takes your mind off of things in real life."

"Perhaps your right,but when I stand up to anyone and try to be brave I get scared I might get hurt".

She tryed her hardest to be brave,to stand up to those stupid people over there who tryed to drag her down and call her names or make fun of her.But sometimes it was just too hard and then there was no one around to help her tell them off,why because she didn't have any friends.Although maybe she could take Ciel's advice and ignore them the best she could,because starting fights isn't the way to go in this academy and especially if your a first year student and a girl who didn't have anyone to protect you.

"Nicer......and different,how so Ciel".

Had he met other people in this school that weren't nice to him,he did mention they we're making fun of his eye patch.What was that for anyways,did he lose his eye in a accident or something.Selena didn't want to ask him since it would be rude to do so,instead she listened to the books he liked to read.Well none of those sounded like her idea of a good book,but to each they're own.

"Your right about that,I get lost in fantasy books and it feels like i'm in the story".

Ciel sighed for a moment. Seems Selena was still a bit on the shy side. Was she always so beaten up mentally in situations like this? Ciel was deep in thought, but only for a moment after Selena's words. He crossed his legs and interlocked his fingers. Placing his hands under his chin and closing his one eye.

"Hmmm" He thought for a bit as she asked her question to him. He looked to her and gave a soft smile. "Well... you just are. You don't seem like the snobby rich type." He informed quietly as so others wouldn't overhear his words.

He leaned back in his seat and took a look around. No one really had their eyes on them. Good. Ciel looked back to the shy-like girl. "A good book always is something to look forward to. Sadly enough, I left all my books back in London, so I came here to try and find some new books to read. Nothing really seems to interest me at the moment, though."

He nodded as he spoke, speaking the truth. But who knows, maybe something more interesting then reading may happen.

"Well of course not,I may come from a rich family but I was raised right".

She was taught never to be greedy,to always be nice to people and treat others with respect.Now if you wanted a example of snobbish and so full of themselves she could mention the perfect person,Rikka that girl treated everyone in this academy like her own personal slave or at least tryed to.Those who did follow her around like lost little puppies and bowed to her every whim we're stupid,how could someone be so full of themselves like that it was disgusting.

He had left all his books back in......London,he was from all the way over there.Selena had always wanted to travel the world,visit new countries and see how other cultures led they're lives.To actually think she would be so lucky to meet someone from far away,but it was a shame he had left his books behind.Maybe she could interest him in her type of books,it was worth a try.Sliding off the seat she was on and standing up,she went over to grab the book she was just reading and sat back down before opening it up.

"This is a good book,it's about a princess who wants........to......run away with the prince but...".

As she was trying to explain,Selena couldn't help but lock her blue eyes with Ciel's single eye.She shifted closer to him,he really was cute and wondered if he had a girlfriend or anything.Feeling her face beginning to turn a shade of pink,she quickly looked down to the ground.She hadn't noticed it till now but her heart was beating quickly inside her chest,like it wanted to leap out.

Ciel smiled when she encouraged his little comment about her. She was raised right, huh? She must have been lucky. Her family must be interesting too.

He waited a moment before watching her get up to get her book that he had nicely placed onto the table. He turned to see others chuckle at her saying things like, 'Hopefully she wont drop it again." He sent a glare in their direction and turned back to Selena.

She sat back down and began explaining he book to him. He smiled to her, but she stopped soon after she began. A princess running away with her prince. Ciel noticed something with her. She was a Dreamer. A strong one at that. At the same time, it seemed she always placed herself down too. Quite sad.

He raised his one brow at her as she quickly looked away from him and looked towards the ground. Ignoring the shyness of her, he chuckled. "Ah, it does sound interesting. Not quite my taste but fantasy has always been a good genre." Ciel nodded, trying to encourage her just a little.

"It's better then horror,and science fiction".

At least she thought so,putting the book aside once more she continued to look at the floor.What else was she suppose to say,this was akward for her to actually be in the company of a young man or any boy besides her cousins.And this was the first time well actually no not the first time she's ever felt a little crush on a boy,she had a crush on Seto's rival Yugi Muto but he was way out of her league.Besides he liked that girl Tea,she would never have a chance.Selena wanted someone who was around her age,and that was nice and kind.

"Ciel do you have a girlfriend....".

She covered her mouth quickly,oh shoot that had come out of nowhere.That was rude of her to even say something like that to him,what if he did have a girlfriend though.Her heart finally calmed down abit,but her eyes had come from looking down at the ground to once again looking up at Ciel.Putting her hands on her lap she waited to see what he would say to her sudden outburst,probably thought she was crazy or something for even bringing the subject up.

"Sorry sorry I didn't mean to ask that,forgive me".

He chuckled ever so slightly as she mentioned it being better then horror or science fiction. Not in his case, but it was best to just agree. It was quiet for a good while. Ciel looked around a little bit and saw most people leaving the library. He nodded, happy that some of the jerks of the school were finally leaving for now.


He jumped a little at her question though. His eye widened and turned to Selena. Shocked to have ever been asked that question. "Uh, n-no." He answered , unsure really how to answer right. It was quite random and it did pop out of no where.

He gulped for a moment and looked away, blushing ever so slightly. It was silent for a moment, but it was quickly broken as Selena spoke up once more. He turned to her and chuckled a bit. "No, no, it's ok." He informed, only speaking the truth. Did this girl like him, though? What other reason could she have asked Ciel that..? He thought to himself for a while. Unsure as to what to think or do.

Score he didn't have a girlfriend which was good right,this meant she had a chance.NO wait what was she thinking,you can't just become someone's girlfriend over night.And besides they had just met and he probably wasn't ready for a girl clinging to him,wait why was she even thinking about these things.She was shy and didn't want to say out loud that she may have finally found her prince charming,cause she was afraid she might chase him away or he might think she was strange.But what if he thought she was already strange,after blurting out that question if he had a girlfriend.

"I think your pretty neat Ciel,your not like other boys I know".

And by that she meant Yugi and a few of his friends,and also Seto her step cousin.Ciel seemed like a boy who was kind towards others,but most people say you can never judge a book by it's cover.She glanced over to see some of the students leaving the library,well they could go besides its not like she cared if they came or went.They had given her nasty looks,and we're nothing but stuck up snooty rich punks.Looking back at Ciel she wondered on what else she could ask him,without being rude of course.

"Do you have alot of servants to help you at home".
