Sweet Melody {Tohma/Open}

The silver haired teen had just entered the large room, looking around in awe. The place was huge, bigger than she ever pictured it. She walked around a bit, her eyes darting the room. It was empty. "Maybe I'm a bit early?" she asked herself, walking down the steps and taking a seat on the desk.

So this was his first day on the job,he had read about this academy in the newspaper.It had meant leaving NG behind for awhile and taking a break from Nittle Grasper but this was a new experience for the head of a huge record company,and teaching here he could probably find some new talent but that was highly doubtful.When possible new artists came before Tohma Seguchi,they had to prove the could make it out in the real world singing and bringing in sales and big buisness.Opening the door to the choir room he slipped inside and closed the door behind him,sliding his sunglasses off he blinked only noticing one student.

"Well it seems i've only one student for now,I do hope more show up".

Tohma was wondering if he could even pull off teaching students,and a choir class to boot.He wore his usual attire that he dressed in everyday,a black hat and nice pants and shoes along with the vest and shirt underneath to match a red vest.His jacket was down his shoulders since it's how he liked to wear it,taking a seat at the piano on the chair there he flashed a smile to the one lone student.

"Well then your name is.....".

He only stood up for a moment,he had gotten a tour earlier of this classroom and shown where everything was.A shame that there wasn't a keyboard,it was his favorite to play.Perhaps he could order one to the school,or ask the principal if one could be brought in from town.No matter what this was going to be quite a interesting year,and alot of fresh talent to seek out.

Nayru jumped in startlement, facing the teacher before her and smiled. "I'm Nayru Calibur. Pleasure to meet you." she introduced, bowing politely. She then stood up straight, walking down to the piano and stared at it for a moment. "You play the piano?" she asked, looking at him with slight curiosity.

"Excuse me, excuse me... Is this the choir room?" Akane shyly inquired. "I still don't know my way around the school very well."

The room was large and and new looking. A piano sat in one place with who she assumed to be the choir teacher at the bench. It was a beautiful piano and Akane stared in adoration.

"Nayru what a nice name,well it's a pleasure to have you in my class".

Watching her movements Tohma saw her make her way down and then towards the piano,she then asked if he played the piano.Well no he didn't his weapon of choice was the keyboard,it gave more sound to a crowd when you played it.But when he was younger he did play the piano abit,but to play now it would be hard since he might be a little rusty with the ivories.

"I did a long time ago,but I prefer the keyboard".

Tohma never let that fake smile escape his lips,it was his little mask to keep his true nature hidden from everyone.The only ones who have seen his true self we're Eiri,Shuichi,Mika and Taki Aizawa.But it was very rare that side ever came out unless you rubbed him the wrong way,his attention turned from Nayru towards the door once more seeing someone else had entered his classroom.

"Why yes it is,are you another student who wishes to learn music".

Nayru smiled as she heard that he now played the keyboard. "The keyboard is quite an instrument... It attracts the crowd more, really. At least to me, it does." she replied. She then turned to see the new student and smiled at her in greeting. She then sat on the piano bench, her fingers running across the keys. She had lessons when she was a child. She can still play but it's been almost a year since she had touched a piano. "May I?" she asked the instructor, referring to try playing the piano.

Akane blinked and shook her head realizing that the teacher was speaking to her. She bowed politely and introduced herself. "Yes, I look forward to learning music in this class." Akane bowed again.

"Go ahead,I want to see your talents".

He to the side then found another chair to sit in,playing instruments was but one talent a rising star could have.But Tohma was more interested in seeing how these students sing,that was the main reason he took this class and to seek out fresh talent to take back with him to NG.Ah but for now he'll just teach this choir class,teach them what music is all about and show them we're true talent can take you if you got the guts to go the distance.

Turning his head towards Akane,he once again stood up off the chair.Having been shown where some music books we're kept he opened a cabinet with a key,taking some out he flipped through a few holding them with one hand and his other hand rubbing his chin.Was this what the academy expected him to teach the students,the music didn't seem bad but just how many could actually sing without making him cringe.

Closing the book he turned towards the two students,tossing one towards Nayru and the other towards Akane and keeping one for himself.Turning towards a page in the book,he wanted to see what these two could do.

"Why don't you play the piano,and you sing turn to page 10".

Nayru caught the book and placed it on the piano, turning to the assigned page. She blinked at the song, feeling as if she had played it before. She smiled and glanced at her teacher. "Ready when you are!" she said, determined.

Akane caught the tossed book as well. She turned to the assigned page and scanned the music, listening to the melody in her head as she walked over to the other student at the piano and bowed slightly in a quick greeting. Keeping her distance and standing a bit in the shadows Akane replied, "I am ready as well."

She quickly scanned the music again, unconsciously fingering the notes in the air as she would on cello.
