The evening warmth clung to his skin, already in his swim trunks as he headed towards the pool. There was a light evening breeze, but once so minimally noticable it made no real difference. He carried his normal clothes in his hands, and nothing else. Why would he need a towel? He was part dog, after all- he knew how to shake himself off. He set his clothes on one of the poolside chairs. He glanced around a few times, before walking calmly towards the pool.
"What a busy place..."
He looked down into the deep dark water, completely pitch black because of the evening sky; not even the bright stars could shine some light upon the water. He put his toes in the water, a light cold shiver creeping up his spine and making his hair stand up. But he shook it off and forced himself to get over it, leaping into the water almost immediately, the sound of semi-loud splash filling the area. His head soon enough popped out of the water, spitting the water out of his mouth and rubbing his eyes. He glanced around once more; still nobody. Which was kinda surprising, considering how warm of a night it was.
He then plunged his body into the water head first, swimming deeper into the pool before he reached the bottom. He swam around a little bit there, keeping his eyes opened as he looked into what seemed an endless darkness beneath an ocean. Running out of air, he quickly made his way towards the top once more, gasping for air once he reached the surface. The moonlight reflected upon his muscular tone, which never seemed to go away- he could eat a life's supply of ramen and not lose one muscle. He now put his arms behind his head, laying on his back and floating in the water. He closed his golden eyes, feeling a state of relaxation take over him. |

There was nothing more enjoyable then a nightly swim,it was warm and the air seemed to kiss at her body tempting her to just jump into the pool.She wore a bikini and had a towel and her clothing with her,setting it aside on one of the chairs her eyes fell upon someone else's clothing.So she wasn't alone on this little midnight swim,that was fine she wasn't going to stay long anyways.It would just be a quick dip then back up to her dorm room,her roommate was Luke he was a student at this academy and she was a teacher more like a helper so she wasn't really a teacher.
Walking to the edge of the pool she glanced down into the dark water,as she was about to jump in she heard the water stir and someone in the water.Maybe it was a student just enjoying the warm night air and dark water like her,she jumped into the water and let herself sink to the bottom.Opening her eyes she couldn't see in front of her,it was too dark like a thick blanket that had been draped over the water.Pushing off the bottom she surfaced,coughing and looking around.
Swimming in the water she wondered where this other person was,she then bumped into something or someone in the water and backed away.Tilting her head she glanced over noticing the person had long white hair and ears who this guy had ears this was way strange.

He thought he had heard somebody go into the pool while he was underwater, but chose to ignore it, enjoying himself in the tranquility of the cool water sorrounding him. When he popped out of the water, he glanced around to see if what he had heard was correct, but saw nobody. He then shrugged, and continued floating on his back on the surface of the water, the warm air clinging to his skin like a comforting blanket. The remaining drops of water laid upon his skin, warming up to the temperature immediately.
He then felt somebody bump into him, knocking him off of his balance on the surface as his body tipped on the side into the water. Immediately popping his head out above the surface, he shook his head like a dog to get some of the water out of his ears and hair. He then looked around, his eyes meeting a girl. He blinked for a moment, not exactly sure what to say at first, but she stole the first words anyways with her apology. His ears twitched at the sound of her voice, as he had never met this girl before- even though he knew he wouldn't know many people at this school yet, he didn't expect to meet anybody so soon, within hours of arriving. Sorry didn't see you there. She said.
"So I figured."
He stated simply, tilting his head to the right and tapping the left side of his head to get the water out. He noticed how the girl stared at his ears, but that was nothing unexpected- especially in modern times such as these, which he had followed Kagome to, and ended up at this academy. He had no idea if she was actually here, but whatever.. This could be interesting. His golden eyes set upon the girl now- well, what he could see in the moonlight.
"Yeah, I know. My ears. That's what happens when you're mother is human and you're father is a demon."
He smirked lightly for a moment, then looked down into the deep water sorrounding them. He felt another warm summer night breeze pass by them, as his eyes once again met the girl's.

"Then your a half demon".
She knew what the difference between a half demon and full demon was,after all she did come from a place where different monsters and demons lived.But none like he was,he seemed to be a interesting person.Circling him in the dark water her eyes we're trying to see if he had a tail to go with those ears and hair,but alas she couldn't find it.Being a half demon meant he didn't get a tail huh,oh well she wasn't too disappointed.
"So are you a student,if so what year".
She seemed to have a serious expression,trying to act all teacher like.If he was a student wasn't he suppose to be in his dorm at this time of night,Sheena still had to get used to some of the rules at this academy.She had been so used to feeling free and helping those in her village,but coming to this academy she had to learn all these strange rules and get to know about a weird new buildings and students.

His eyebrow raised in curiosity as she started to circle around him, taking him a few moments to realize what she was doing. He let out a quiet sigh, folding his arms across his chest and looking to the side for a moment with an expectant look on his face. He waited for her to finish before doing anything, letting her discover that he didn't have one. He smirked a slight toothy grin at her once she stopped, pausing a moment before speaking.
"Nope, no tail."
He stated simply, knowing that's exactly what she was looking for. Another common action of somebody just meeting him, he noted, but he'd gotten used to it.. it wasn't every day you met a guy with dog ears and abnormally long hair, so why not expect a tail to come with it, I guess. He took a moment to shake the excess water out of his hair while she spoke, shaking himself off like a dog as his ears twitched a little from the air hitting his skin. He blinked a moment, not expecting that question.
"I am. And this is my first year."
Even though he was probably hundreds of years older then any of the fourth years here, let alone the first years, he automatically became a first year because he had never before been enrolled. Which was slightly irritating, but nothing he could do- well, actually there was a lot he could do- but all of the above were illegal, immoral, or a mixture of the two. He got the feeling that this woman was a teacher, because of her straightforward questioning of his enrollment. First night here and i'm already getting questioned. He let out a sigh, his arms still folded across his chest.
"Keh! Who says I can't go for a swim?"
He then let his arms fall to his sides, as he let himself balance on the surface of the water once more, folding his arms behind his head. His amber eyes looked straight into the evening sky, the starlight reflecting upon them. One arm raised as he itched his nose, squinting his eyes for a second before it found its place once more behind his head.

"I never said you couldn't swim,I was just saying....".
Now she may only be a helping teacher at the moment,aiding with the students in the combat class.But in a way she was a mix between a teacher and student,so when she wasn't helping the teacher who taught combat she was helping other students when they needed it.Moving her arms around she kicked her legs under the water so she could keep her balance,but for him he just seemed to kick back and float in the water without really doing anything.
"Go ahead and swim,I promise I won't tell".
She headed in a different direction of the water,disappearing beneath the darkness and moonlight.Moving her arms and hands through the dark abyss,she swam down further and touched the bottom then pushed off and went back up to the surface coming up with a gasp of air.Floating on her back she stared up towards the moon,thinking back to when she would talk to Zelos on a warm night like this.
Casting her gaze sideways,she kicked and used her arms to move across the water.Looking back as far as she could,she lost her balance in the water and almost sunk.Swimming to the side she got out then turned and sat back down,putting her feet in the water.Was it right for her to start dating Luke,even if Zelos always did kid around she hated his jokes. He blinked at the girl as she talked, not expecting her to take what he said so seriously. Hell, most people didn't even listen to his smartass comments, let alone respond to them. He remained floating in the water, stealing his gaze from the girl and looking back up at the endless evening sky. He thought of all of his things back home... his worries, his friends, his duties, Kagome. He still had yet to run into her, even though she was the only reason he had traveled to modern times in the first place, to look for her.
He let out a relaxed sigh, letting his eyes half close as his thoughts went on. When he opened them again, he realized the girl had moved to the other side of the pool. Noticing how she seemed to struggle at swimming, he blinked at her once more and scratched his head. "Need help there?" He said with a toothy smirk. This girl seemed simple, but a bit interesting. Something was a little different about her. Most girls would be babbling about shit he didn't care about, but she seemed to keep to herself.
