About the Roleplayer
Nickname: Puppy
RP Experience: About 7 years now
About the Character
Name: Alfred F. Jones
Age: In the centuries... But 17 in appearance.
Anime/Game/OC: Axis Powers Hetalia
Personality: Alfred was always a strong willed and persistent young man, even in his youth. He strived to become better, to be the greatest, and always help others when in need. He still strives to this day, even if he's become a bit pushy with his ideals. In his own head, he's easily lovable, incredibly kind and very awesome, but most of all; heroic. To others though, he's loud, overbearing, obnoxious, nosy, oblivious and most of all, stupid. Other then his large amount of 'negatives', he really is a caring young man, as well as courageous, always sticking up for the little guy and always fighting to defend whoever is in need, even if doing so puts his life at risk. A lot of his actions are incredibly idiotic, but they're always with good intention.
He's incredibly social, usually the first to greet someone and 'try' to become their friend. He can sometimes be considered a jokester, sometimes teasing... well, everyone, but especially his younger brother... When he notices him that is. He doesn't have the best of table manners, always talking with his mouth full and in between slurps of soda. He can be rude at times, interrupting a person in mid-word just to state his opinion [only to go off into a tangent]. Because of this, a lot of the people he calls friends tend to either ignore him or just plain dislike him. But he never leaves their side, and is always ready to spring into action when they're troubled.
One could say his mindset is that of a dogs; Lovable, playful, always loyal, and a little dumb, but always ready to fight for his family and those he cares for deeply and console them when they're upset. He is the "hero" after all.
History: Alfred F. Jones, also known as The United States of America. Or so he wished. He was always proud of being the great USA when he won his independence from his father-figure Arthur Kirkland, who was the anthropomorphic representation of England. But the self-proclaimed Hero had to hide the fact that he was a nation when he came to his school with his younger brother Matthew. Why he is here? He just says it's to keep an eye on his little bro, but the real reason is a secret. Meaning... He really doesn't know.
Ever since he was a small child, Alfred had big ideas and was always a very independent child, as well as strong; Not just with will, but physically as well. He'd always cause trouble for his adoptive parent, whether it be avoiding bath-time, drawing his "dream flag" on the walls of the house, or picking up a bull by it's horns and swinging it around like it were nothing but a feather-light rag doll.
He still doesn't understand that being able to lift things like SUVs and whales isn't normal. Nor is making friends with almost every animal he meets.
After being adopted by Arthur, Alfred was soon introduced to a boy who would be known as his younger brother. Alfred didn't care much for this boy, dubbing him as boring and would ignore him for more interesting things. This boy was Matthew Williams. The two grew up together, Alfred still not paying him much mind, constantly out-shining and overshadowing his almost twin. It wasn't until recently he began to start taking notice of young Matty, promising him that from now on he'd be a better brother, even if he still sometimes forget where he placed Matt.
[ "Where did I put Matty again?" "I'm not an object Al..." "HOLY STARS! WHAT WAS THAT?!" "...*sigh*" ]
Role: Student - Third year
Weaknesses: Ghosts. He preaches how he's a brave hero, strong and fearless, but when it comes to ghosts he panics. Of course, he tries to stand his ground and "prove" his bravery by watching ghost movies and shows, but always has to watch them with someone else or he'll end up with nightmares and even sometimes cry. [though he'd never admit it]. Also food, primarily burgers. He'd do anything for one if he didn't have the means to get one for himself. He becomes something of a begging puppy.
Strengths: His strong will and determination. Once he sets his mind to something, he gets it done. You could also call his sense of justice and heroism a strength, he certainly does.
Weapons/Magic: Incredible super-human strength, which he uses for... less heroic actions, such as dragging Arthur's SUV for hours while searching for the man, only to ask him if he can use it, or in when he was a child and decided to play spin the bull, lifting up and twirling around a full grown bull by it's horns. He think's it's normal. [Why wouldn't it be? He's a hero!]
How did you come to be at the academy?:
Even though when they were younger, Al never really paid much attention to his brother. Now that they're older, Alfred promised to be a better big bro, especially now that Matt was going to a school.
Alfred's "protective brother" instincts kicked in and he quickly applied to Chocolat Academy soon after Matthew. Arthur was 100% supportive of this action; It meant that obnoxious American would be out of his hair.
It also gave Alfred the opportunity to see what it was like to be a normal person, as well as why his teenage population always complained so much about school.
Custom Title: It's because I'm the Hero!
RP Sample:
Alfred was just dying, and not in his usual way of being unable to breathe from laughing too much. No, today he was dying of boredom. Blue eyes would glance up to the clock hung teasingly over the door every few seconds as though in the matter of those five seconds the clock would magically skip ahead another thirty minutes. He had been doing this the entire class in between sneaking fries from his pocket and into his mouth. He had thought about starting a note chain, or maybe even just nonchalantly flirt with the girl sitting next to him, but she had seen him stuffing his face full of the fries he stored in his pocket and had given him this disapproving, somewhat disgusted look. So he just would sigh and repeatedly look at the clock, willing the hands to move faster so he could get out of that class and to his after school lunch.
The bell finally rang after Alfred had fallen asleep on his desk, and of course, he didn't hear it. It wasn't until he started fighting for breath and snorting that he woke up, staring up at his younger brother as he pinched his nose. Batting the hand away, Al sat up, yawning a fry-scented yawn. "Hey... where is everyone?" He asked, taking a moment to realize class had ended and the school was empty save for the after school clubs as well as him and Matt.
Chuckling, he stood and threw his arm over his brother's shoulder, taking his bag in his free hand before leading the younger blonde out of the room, "I'm starving. Let's head to Carl's J for some burgers and shakes. My treat. Don't worry bro, you can get the next one! Haha!"
