The sound of seagulls could be heard from above as the sky was clear blue, a few clouds floating here and there. It was the weekend and Nayru decided to take her first stroll on the bridge. She had heard about how long it took to get to the other side and back when walking. It was a shock for her really, for she hadn't imagined a bridge that long before. Feet getting sore, she decided to rest, leaning against the edge of the concrete bridge, staring out at the horizon.

into the unknown,He heaved out an ungraceful yawn while stretching his arms up high and popping his bones; dammit, he was freakin' tired. Pulling up all-nighters were fun... if they involved gaming, that is, doing homework, on the other hand, was not. Perhaps he should start managing his time better or getting a better informant for school work and such - it would be such a pity to fail now, in his senior year, when he had miraculously passed his other years by barely being present in class. he wasn't a delinquent, oh no, but he was just very... energetic, one could say in a strange way, and never liked being confined hence the reason why he was out here instead of being in class.
Speaking of 'out here' he was at this place again: the bloody bridge. Somehow, in the back of his mind, he thought that his body had some type of death wish or something. He was a frequent visitor here, not 'only' just 'frequent' is all, and would always stare out or down below into the waters. It felt as if he would be jumping off the banisters of the bridge soon and plunge to his wet death; the thought brought a slight chuckle to his lips as he lit up a cigarette and took a puff - him and his silly ideas.
His red eyes gleamed with the reflection of the sunlight, temporarily blinding him, before they adjusted and narrowed. Damn thing, just because he didn't go out much it didn't mean that the sun had to target him with its blasted rays. 'Wonder how that girl does it.' The student wondered with an elegant brow raised. Surely enough there was a figure not too far away from his current location just perched up there and staring at the scene, including the sun. A frown marred his face as he re-evaluated his words - he sounded like some kind of dark creature, or a vampire no less, which some people thought he was due to his appearance. 'And the fact that I secretly enjoy the taste of blood' The young man added as he heaved a sigh.
"Don't your eyes hurt miss?" where the light shines bright.

The silver haired girl blinked as she gazed at the stranger, tilting her head at the question. She smiled a bit and shook her head. "Not really... I appreciate your concern.." she said in a polite manner, her smile grew.

into the unknown,He let out a small chuckle and took another puff, the two of them falling into silence. The girl beside him didn't talk much and was probably from the same school as himself - it was, after all, the only one near this place... no matter how far it was now. He wasn't really concerned for her, just curious was all. He wasn't much of a fan when it came to sunglasses but he detested sunlight, or insane bright lights in general, so he was always clashing with his thoughts and actions.
"Hopefully you won't hurt your eyes or something... soon enough that thing's gonna be hitting full force." And it was never pretty, for him at least, that was for sure. That was why he had detested phys ed during first year when summer came - they had to run and do activities outside; he was freakin' pale for pete's sake! Not only did he tan or burn easily but it was hot and he had been wearing a jacket. Yeah, people did taunt him and the likes but he got them back later. where the light shines bright.
