it had been a good hour after that little incident in the Library. Sebastian had already helped get Selena to the Medical building where she was still currently asleep. at least she was safe. Ciel was still a little worried about her. What was her problem. He paced in the waiting room for a good time, unsure if he should stay or should go. His butler was near by. soon enough, a doctor informed Ciel that he was able to visit her. He nodded and moved into the room. Before he entered, his eye looked to Sebastian, informing him to stay put for the moment.

He slowly moved inside to see a calm looking Selena. He tilted his head and moved in a bit more. "Selena..?"

The faint beep of machines,the feel of what seemed like sheets under body.And a voice calling her name,she opened her eyes slowly squinting from the light in the room.The last thing she could remember was sitting in the library with a book on her lap,then that cute boy had come over and talked to her.That's right the cute boy,what was his name again......oh yeah Ciel.Once her eye's we're used to the light in the room she could see him standing not too far away from her,her head moved up the pillow abit to see IV's one with blood in it and the other with a clear liquid.Wait she had passed out in the library,and now she was in the medical building.Letting her blue eyes settle back on Ciel,she knew he was probably wondering what happened.

"Sorry about that,I didn't mean to cause you and your butler the trouble of bringing me here".

If it had been someone else,then they would have probably just left her there to die.Turning her head away from Ciel towards the opposite side of the room,a small frown appeared on her lips.Had no one informed her cousins she was in here,how typical.Mokuba would have probably come,Seto well he might have too but one should never count they're chickens before they hatch.Sighing she brought one of her hands to head,she still seemed abit hot but then again you usually can't tell your own temperature.

"Aren't you curious,as to why that happened".

She pushed herself up into a sitting position,so her back was on the pillow and her hands now folded in front of her.Her hair hung down freely from the hair clip it had been in,she saw the clip sitting on the side table.Selena never wanted anyone to see something like that,especially Ciel or any other students.

"Ah." Ciel let out a sigh of relief as he watched Selena's eyes flicker open. She was coming to finally. Ciel was told she was out for a good while. Ever since the Library. That's a long time. Pretty unhealthy too. Ciel wanted to know what was wrong with her. Why did that happen to her? Maybe she was allergic to him? He ignored the last part and moved closer to her, taking the visitor's chair that rested by the wall. His brow was raised as she said sorry to him for troubling himself and the butler.

"Sorry? You were practically going to die! Do not say sorry. You needed help. It was the best we could do.." Ciel felt himself turn red for a moment and moved back into his seat. His head lowered for a bit.

She spoke up once more and Ciel looked to see her sitting up now. She looked a bit different with her hair down, but whatever the case, he ignored it. In a way, she seemed...prettier with it down like that. Ciel nodded to her reply. "Yes. I would like to know what is going on."

*Die......yes die,wouldn't it be better*

No no she couldn't think like that,it sucked being the only blood living relative to Gozaburo Kaiba.But what sucked even more is that everything was in Seto's name,it was Kaiba blood that was running through her veins not her step cousins.But she wasn't strong enough or old enough to run a company,deal with buisness and handle things like Seto does.Would that have been what Noah was going to do,take over his father's buisness after he had passed on.

In truth she was the only survivor of her whole family,but growing up around Seto and Mokuba she had come to accept them as her blood relatives.The thing is with this illness she could only have type B blood pumped into her,and her step cousins didn't have the blood she needed.So they had to get shipped especially for her,and if she could have one wish it would be for this illness to leave her body and go away.When Ciel asked that he wanted to know what was going on,she kept her gaze shifted the other way.

"Ever since I was born I have had a frail body,my heart can't produce the blood I need to lead a normal life.So I need blood transfusions to keep me alive,and if I miss any well......what you saw happen to me could result in serious things.I could die,which is why I wish it would just go away".

The butler frowned. Why was he doomed to wait here outside the door? Perhaps The Young Master would let him in. His demon senses were so much stronger then a humans. He could smell every thing in that disgusting medical building. It was irritating him, but did he show it? No. He stood there and carefully listened to the conversation going on in the room. Both were quiet....
Sebastian stood there unmoving, like a tin soldier as he listened to the girl's story. A weak heart. Not her fault, he couldn't see why people would pick on her. But alas he really didn't care. As long as the young master was okay, he was okay.

Ciel's brow arched then moved to a worried position. "C-could die?" He repeated. So he had guessed right earlier. Thank the lord he and Sebastian worked fast enough. Mostly Sebastian. Ciel leaned back in his seat and continued to listen to Selena. He sighed. "I-I am sorry to hear that, Selena." He informed all together.

His hands interlocked together as he began to think to himself. if only there was some why he could help her. But from the seriousness she was speaking from, there was no simple operation that could make things any easier for her. He just looked up to her with one blue eye and sighed. "I wish I could do something for you... Is there any way for you to get cured from this? Anything at all?" Ciel figured he might as well ask. If there was anything that could help her, it'd be much better then nothing.

"I have no one in this world,except for my step cousins.My parents died in a car accident,I was the only survivor.Then my uncle died,and my real cousin.......".

She finally looked back at Ciel,her fingers tucking her hair behind her ear.She would probably have to stay here until that blood pack is done and empty,how typical.This is how it always has been,hospital visits and now here at this academy.Her soft smile returned to her lips happy to have someone by her side,Ciel really was a nice boy and he was someone who she could probably get to know better.Sliding her body down into the hospital bed once again until her head rested upon the pillow,feeling a little dizzy from sitting up after just waking up.

"A cure I wish there was a cure,I want this illness to leave me alone".

She could feel tears forming in the ducts of her eyes,if there was such a cure somewhere out there she wanted to know about it.To be rid of this thing that was inside her,to have blood flow to her heart normally yes she wishes for that more then anything.Turning her head to look at Ciel she held out one of her hands even thought it had wierd tubes and what not sticking out of it.They had barely known eachother but Selena was starting to really fall for this young master,there was no doubt about it.

"Ciel I think........I love you".

If she wasn't hooked up to these stupid machines,she would probably pounce him.But she didn't want to give him a startle,that would be un-lady like right.Well once she got out of here she would make it up to him,and go to Home Ec,oh wait where was his butler probably right outside the door wasn't he.Selena just put her hand down by the edge of the bed,she wanted someone to hold her and comfort her.To tell her everything was going to be okay,the tears that had been holding themselves back finally trickled down her cheeks.

The demon just stood there. He must have looked like a complete and utter fool standing there.... But he couldn't go against his master's orders. 'Stay' That's all he could think of. He clicked his heals together a few times and carefully listened in.

Death.

He smirked, the thought was quite interesting. Human Death didn't bother him so much. After all he would just devour his young master's soul once he died. A sadistic grin played on his pale lips as he thought about the soul. Starving himself until then would be worth it. The smiled faded.

Love? She loved his Ciel? He growled rumbled in his throat. He wanted to tear the girl limb from limb. But why bother? She was already dying. Just the thought of that brought the familiar devilish grin to his lips. Yet he still wanted to go into the room and tear his master away from the little girl....

Ciel listened to her. it was almost like she had the same horrid childhood like he did. Parents dying and all of that. Sounded horrible. And being in the shape she was in.... Ciel was unsure how she'd really get along in this school. Why people made fun of her was just a complete mystery.

He sighed as she fell quiet for a moment. A the quiet grew more awkward, Ciel looked to Selena and sighed a bit. "I'm sorry to hear that, Selena." He noted calmly. Ciel looked up at her as she moved to get comfortable. Her head resting to the fluffy pillow under her head. He could tell by her voice she was on the brink of tears. Oh Ciel hated it when people cried before him. It was...just sad, all together. but in most cases, she needed to get some tears out of her. It was just tough to see someone so nice in this state of condition. Ciel closed his eyes a s he spoke. "We all got to live with something... I'm just sorry to see yours is a bit tough to go through." He was never really good at making things better... just now he felt really bad for his new friend. Ciel watched her moved, her hand reached out for his practically. Ciel, at firs was unsure what to do, entirely. But he slowly took hold of it. It seems she needed a friend of some kind. Why not. Ciel figured he would not be the best friend but he could try to be there for her. He gave her a soft smile. He was, however, blown away by her next response.

A chill ran up his spine. "R-really?" He questioned, unsure if he really heard it all right. He held tighter to the limp hand and felt blush rise on his pride-filled cheeks. "I....I think I feel the same way, Selena..." He whispered quietly. He was not sure how to really help her, but she needed someone right now. Ciel raised his head to her and took out a piece of nice cloth he often used to clean small messes that would get on himself or his clothes. It was clean. Slowly, he took a corner to wipe one side of tears away. "Please don't cry." He asked with a small smile.

His attention was moved from Selena for a moment as he looked to the doorway. With his other hand, he let a snap fill the room. "Sebastian... you can come in now." He informed, knowing his loyal butler would be standing right there.

"I don't like living with it tho......".

She felt her tears being wiped away,the cloth against her cheeks was soft and welcoming.It calmed her tears down and no more fell from her eyes,she had caught what Ciel seemed to whisper but barely.Did he also love her even though it was just a short meeting before,well if he did it means she finally wasn't alone anymore.But she still had alot to ask Ciel,and she wanted to get to know him better alot better.So many things to ask,such as what was his favorite kinds of foods and she already knew what kind of stories he liked.When he has spoken not to cry,the moment he said those words and when the cloth had touched her cheeks they had stopped.

Her eyes shifted towards the doorway,so she had been right his butler was here.What would he think about her liking Ciel,would he hate her or support her or maybe he just didn't care.But this was also one of her teacher's she was thinking these things about,Home Ec class.If this hadn't had happened they would both be in that class,learning to make delicious food.After she got out of this bed,the first thing she was going to get was something sweet......oh but what if they wanted to keep her here overnight.

She had noticed that Ciel was blushing,and it was just now she also noticed he as holding her hand.It felt so warm and comforting,that she never wanted to let go.Selena wanted to bring her other hand over to put ontop of his,but she couldn't pull it that far over unless she wanted to pull out the IV that was pumping blood into her body and up towards her heart.She wondered if there was anyone out there that could grant wishes,to make bad things go away.

The conversation had gotten somewhat deeper he could hear. He yawned. When was he allowed in? He started toying with the end of his shirt. All in All, waiting was boring. His thoughts drifted over to the girl. Sebastian held the frown this time while thinking of how positively delicious her soul would taste. Soft and sweet, he decided.

A call. Ahhh, time to enter the room. Always being by his loyal butler must have spoiled the boy. He always expected him there. A sigh escaped the raven haired man's slightly parted lips as he pushed open the door gently. "Yes young Master?" he said softly, offering a bow before closing the door.

Ciel was serious as he awaited the arrival of Sebastian to enter. He knew he was waiting and he had a pretty good feeling he was watching as well. Never a good sign.... Sebastian was never moody...but nothing wrong with being to careful... His Blue eye darted to the tall and slender butler that entered.

He watched Sebastian close the door behind him and ask what he wanted. Ciel nodded, his hand still holding gently onto his new friend's hand. "You may go as you please." He informed Sebastian.

"I don't think I'll be needing your help for now... I'll call you if I do." He informed briefly and looked back to Selena. "Lets say, after they let you out of here, I take you out for a nice dinner. You must be starving." Ciel smiled to Selena to try and lighten the mood..just a little.

Selena glanced up as Sebastian entered the room,why did she get this sinking feeling he didn't like her very much.Of course it could just be her being paranoid,he was so polite what with bowing and then closing the door behind him.Of course isn't that what most bulter's we're like,at least his was.Her butler back home was kind too,always asking if she needed anything or saying welcome home.She slinked back abit deciding not to say anything for the moment,once again turning her attention to the ceiling or some other item or object in the hospital room.

She did listen however when Ciel said he wouldn't need Sebastian for now,and that he could go off and do as he pleases.That was nice of him,and even though she wasn't looking at the butler she could still feel creepy vibes coming from him.Turning her attention back to Ciel she almost wanted to sit up quickly but stopped herself from doing so,he wanted to take her out for a nice dinner.

"Your right about that I am starving,alright I accept".

She smiled cheerfully,but Selena also felt her cheeks turning pink.Ah who cared she was just so happy,now she really wanted this stupid IV thing to hurry up so she could get out of this bed and breath the fresh air.Hospitals always smelled weird,even though this was just a medical building kind of like a small hospital it still smelled.Truth was she hated hospitals,but then how would she get help right.
