RP Experience: 6 years.. I can remember role playing since the age of 12, but I'm not entirely sure if I was an active RPer before that age.. I'd say I was about Intermediate, but compared to most people on this site I look like a pitiful Beginner...either that, or I have low self-esteem when it comes to my Literacy.

Personality: Velt is a very straightforward, and rather outgoing person. He has a rather twisted sense of humor, and is almost always either smiling or laughing at someone/something. He is hurt very easily, and if something is done in a way that isn't considered 'his' way, he will instantly start ranting about it.

Velt is also quite moronic. If someone tells him a riddle, it'll usually take him weeks to figure out the answer. Another example of his idiocy would be the fact that if presented with a task that involves a choice, he chooses them based on which one would be more fun for him (and that usually means he's stuck with something he'll regret later).

History: Velt's existence is slightly perplexing. Nothing his known about his life before he enrolled in the academy. In short, that means he's either using a false identity or is incredibly forgetful...

Sadly, it's neither. His life was simply too tragic to speak of.

Born on December 14 to the welcome arms of Derov and Arra Neventa, Velt was but another rich kid living in England. He felt his life was perfect.. it was one big, happy family. But of course, things are never as they seem..

His parents were actively involved in a criminal organization known as 'F.O.G', in which members killed off the "authority", aka anyone who fought against criminals (prosecutors, judges, police officers, etc.). The pair were called the 'Casket Couple', for they always left their victims squished into a child-size casket...

They were given quite a sum of money for their kills, in which they could afford the grand, marvelous life that Velt loved so much.

Then, one day, Derov and Arra decided quite suddenly to leave the organization, which was a death sentence all in it's own. The day they left, the leader of F.O.G made it clear to them that they would be killed. And thus, the friends they once trusted became their enemies.

So Velt's grand life was quite short; the Neventa family was attacked by their enemies. With the mansion set ablaze and his parents killed, Velt was kidnapped and sent away (Where he was sent? He couldn't remember).

Tortured and branded by his captors, Velt took this severe punishment with surprising calm. With only one thought growing in his mind as time grew: revenge. Fatigued, weakened, and horribly abused, Velt thought it was going to be over...

But he lived. He has no idea how he survived, or how he even managed to escape, but he did. It was like some sort of small mercy given to him by some unknown god. Ever since then, he's carried around a small cross, insisting that it helps his otherworldly guardians keep track of him.

Role: Second Year Student
Weaknesses: "Genius" does have its limits. Velt’s few weaknesses would have to lay in the skills that he is not interested in learning (such as dance; although he has been learning to cope with events). He is also quite easily manipulated by people closer to him (not exactly manipulated, but easily convinced) mainly because of his feelings. His greatest weakness, however, is his dependency to his unseen (and probably nonexistent) guardians. Without their imaginary reassurance in his mind, Velt is quite weak. Also, he can easily be won over by someone if they simply buy him things.. he's a sucker for clothes.
Strengths: Acting. He can assume the role of someone completely opposite of him within moments, and won't slip up even once, even when acting isn't required. Though, of course, he'll stop when he thinks his role isn't fun anymore.
Another strength of his would be his ability to hide. He's a man that can hide in nearly impossible places, as quickly as he possibly can. Another of his strengths would be his ability to gain another's sympathy or get someone to momentarily do his bidding by simply making a pitiful face (also known as making someone think that another made them sad, and, depending on who they are, they may or may not try to harm whoever upset him..)
Weapons/Magic: Nothing. He's a self-proclaimed pacifist.
How did you come to be at the academy?: Simple. His angels guided him there. At least, that's what he thinks..

RP Sample: "Where...where am I?"

A teen with multicolor hair was sitting against a blood-spattered wall, clutching an onyx cross to his chest like it was his lifeline. His eyes, which were a shocking shade of blue, were wet from tears he had previously shed, tears he didn't remember shedding. As the boy stood, he frowned, glancing at his surroundings.

Without a word, he took off down the street, stepping over a felled trashcan (which, if one were to look inside, contained the unconscious body of an unknown man). As his bright green converse slapped against the pavement, the boy carefully took in his surroundings, wondering where he was.

"I don't even know how I got to this place..." he muttered, pushing his cross into his pocket. Slowing his pace, he tugged on a small chain around his neck, which bore a dog tag with a name--his name--carved into it. "Did my angels take me here?"

A small smile crept across his pale, pierced face as he thought of it. It was almost euphoric, thinking that there was something watching over him. A small pause, as Velt glanced around the area, was all it took for him to regain his senses. The smile quickly disappeared. "What am I doing so far from school!?"
