About the Character
Name: Mochi Yoshida
Age: 16
Anime/Game/OC: OC
Personality:
There are two words that describe Mochi perfectly: hardheaded and stubborn. If she has something she wants to do she won't stop until she gets it done. Although she tries to stay calm when she needs to be, she gets annoyed rather easily, so her temper often gets the better of her. Long story short: Mochi might just be the most stubborn girl you will ever meet.
Mochi can be rather mischievous. (She is also very childish as well.) Much to the annoyance of both teachers and other students she just loves to pull pranks on people. So if you are sticky after taking a hot shower because someone put some hard candy in your shower head, or if confetti flies out of the air vents of your car, more than likely she did it. Being a horrible liar she gets caught quite often. But that doesn't stop her from doing it again anyways. Besides, there is no harm in having a little fun, right?
Although quite friendly the Growlithe gijinka can be rather quiet at times. It isn't that she is shy. The reason for this is that she is still learning to speak English. She has learned plenty of it already, and can speak it fairly well, but she doesn't know everything just yet. Luckily her friend, an Abra named Rizu, decided to tag along with her when she decided to go to the school. The Pokemon acts like a translator of sorts to tell her what a person is saying whenever she gets confused.
Although he is now in good health Rizu is still only an Abra. Besides the basics, such as being telepathic an having the ability to make himself float in the air, he doesn't know much. He can also teleport himself from place to place but that tires him out quickly. He is weaker than most of his kind.
History:
Mochi has lived an average life to be honest. She lived in a small village with her parents and was an only child.
The village she lived in was inhabited by gijinka and Pokemon. Now Pokemon do not know English naturally. They had to be taught by the humans that captured them. Humans were an uncommon sight to the village and the Pokemon that lived with them were, for the most part, wild. So the gijinka, being part Pokemon and all, learned their language instead. This is why Mochi didn't know any English until later on.
When she was a young girl, she had always been fascinated with many things. She was home schooled for most of her life. The subjects she was fascinated with the most was plants and Pokemon. As she grew older her mother, who was an herbalist, taught her everything she knew about healing medicines concerning plants. Her father, a Pokemon researcher, taught her a lot about Pokemon. Because of this Mochi tried to befriend and help every Pokemon she came across. This is how she met Rizu.
The place she visited the most was a town she found one day while exploring. She found the locals to be quite interesting- but she couldn't understand a word they were saying. Luckily she found a stray Abra named Rizu. His trainer had abandoned him since he was weak and left him to live on the streets. She gave the poor thing some food and took him home with her. It didn't take long for them to become good friends.
Rizu, like most Pokemon that were captured, was taught English by his old trainer. Since Mochi was so interested in learning their language herself, he started teaching her English and translated what people said in exchange for a place to live.
At the age of thirteen her parents discovered that she had asthma. Ever since they found out they kept her inside most of the time, no matter how much she wanted to go out. She usually doesn't have any attacks, but if she does, it is usually a bad one.
Three years later and she left. She had only packed things she needed such as clothes and her medicine. She had always wanted to travel plus her parents were getting old. On her travels she eventually found Chocolat' Academy.
((Zooommmg.. As you can probably tell by reading that, I am not very good at making up the histories of my characters. Feel free to pick at it and tell me what is wrong if you wish. I will do my best to correct it.))
Role: First Year Student
Weaknesses:
If there is one thing Mochi hates the most, it's water. It makes her fire powers weaker and it also makes her itch if it stays on her skin for too long. But she will drink it. Also, as I mentioned earlier, she is bad at lying.
Strengths: She is ambitious and very stubborn. She is also knowledgeable when it comes to plants.
Weapons/Magic: She has no weapons to speak of but she can control fire somewhat. She is hoping that the magic classes will help her control them better.
How did you come to be at the academy?: She came
across Chocolat' Academy while traveling. The place seemed interesting so she decided to enroll. Besides she needed a place to stay anyhow.

Mochi yawned tiredly, staring at the rather large lake in front of her, waiting for something to swim her way. It was beginning to get late and she could now see the 'glowing fish' down below. If they weren't able to shock her, she would attempt to catch one. What? She was hungry. Besides, maybe they were edible or something.
If not Rizu would probably eat it anyway. The little rat eats just about anything!
Excuse me? Now just who are you calling a rat?
A small kangaroo-like animal floated off of the branch he was sleeping on and landed on the girl's shoulder. Mochi grinned sheepishly. "Eheheheh.. You weren't supposed to hear that." She mumbled, not exactly sure what to say to the creature. She picked up a stick and started drawing in the sand. Too bad. I still heard it. By the way, are you going to get us something to eat or not? Rizu sighed when his stomach grumbled again. They haven't eaten all day.
Mochi rolled her eyes when he started complaining. "I was thinking about catching one of these fish. What are they called again? C-chin..chou?" Not like the name of the fish really mattered. In fact she couldn't care less. "The only pro-" She stopped talking when she noticed someone watching them near by. How long has he been there? They didn't notice him there earlier.
Ookaay.. Who the hell is that? Rizu asked although he regretted it immediately afterward. "Why don't we walk over there and ask?" He should have known that Mochi would want to find out. But before he could object she was already heading to where the boy was at. They would just have to get food later.
