About the Roleplayer
Nickname: Rox
RP Experience: About one year.
About the Character
Name: Xion
Age: Appears 15, actually about 1.
Anime/Game/OC: Game: Kingdom Hearts
SPOILERS. EVERYWHAR.
Personality: Xion is mostly withdrawn except around Roxas and Axel, and even then she’s easily upset due to the inability to understand herself and her increasingly desperate situation. While prone to collapse under enough stress, Xion is anything but delicate and can usually take out the target with punishing ferocity. She has no illusions about the Organization’s unforgiving coldness and no hesitation to lash out when the situation calls for it.
History: Xion was first created in Castle Oblivion under Vexen’s jurisdiction as No. 1, or No. I. She was meant to be a replication of Sora, in case the original couldn’t be swayed or was destroyed. But as the situation changed, she became a way of throwing a wrench in DiZ’s plans, siphoning Sora’s memories through Roxas. The Organization planned for this, knowing only one or the other would survive.
Xion, oblivious to all of this, spent her time making friends. Roxas took her under his wing, like Axel before him, and the two grew close. But when Sora fell asleep under Naminé’s watchful eye, so did Roxas, and Xion collected seashells from her missions to the beaches of Destiny Islands for each day that Roxas was asleep, telling him about what happened in his absence despite the fact that her voice couldn’t reach him. When he awoke, it was to discover that the group at Oblivion had been eradicated. Axel survived, though, and rejoined Roxas at the clock tower. Xion, in the meantime, disappeared, nearly losing to a particularly powerful Heartless. Axel and Roxas were assigned to search for her, and after they found her she joined their daily “icing on the cake” moments again and the three of them forged a close bond.
Not long after, Xion encountered Riku and fell into a deep sleep of her own, feeling lost due to his curt appraisal of her Keyblade and suggestion to get out of the Organization. Roxas transferred seashells to her bedside for the wait, and when she awoke the encounter still haunted her, destroying her ability to use the Keyblade in the first place. Roxas and Axel came up with a plan to put her with Roxas for each mission, disguising the fact that she wasn’t sending hearts to Kingdom Hearts by assigning Roxas double duty. But tensions and tempers flared between Axel and Saïx and it got to the point that they couldn’t continue the farce. During the last mission, Xion borrowed Roxas’s Keyblade and rediscovered the ability to summon her own. But eventually she grew desperate for answers, going all the way to Oblivion before it was cleared out, and what she found there drove her to run away. She was able to speak with Riku briefly about Sora and Kairi both, but asked him for time to decide. Then Roxas cornered her in Twilight Town, and before he could convince her or get anything out of her, Axel interfered and knocked her senseless to take her home. Things returned to a semblance of normal, but while Xion grew more powerful, Roxas grew weaker. Finally, Xion confronted Axel and found out that her proximity to Roxas was draining him, not only of memories but of strength. While out on a mission with Xigbar and Axel, Xion challenged Xigbar and knocked him out before informing Axel that she was out of time and showing him that she now resembled Sora.
Xion hightailed it to the mansion in Twilight Town, where she spoke with Naminé. Naminé warned her that once they were finished transferring the memories that were actually Sora’s back into Xion, she wouldn’t be remembered herself. Xion still agreed, knowing that she could never feel right with Axel and Roxas the way she was now. But then Axel attacked the mansion, and Xion faced him to protect Naminé and Sora both. Axel defeated her and brought her back, as promised, and Xemnas took her to be fiddled with. Finally, she went to the clock tower to speak with Roxas, explaining her new haircut and insisting that she would absorb Roxas and then allow Sora to absorb them both. But Roxas defeated her, and no sooner had he set foot on the ground again than he started forgetting. Xion assured him that he’d done nothing wrong, but begged him to free all the hearts she’d sent to Kingdom Hearts before vanishing into a seashell. In her final moments, she admitted that it was alright if he and Axel forgot her, because she would remember them.

Strengths: Boundless determination, great physical strength, strong moral compass.

How did you come to be at the academy?: Drawn there by what she hopes is Sora or Roxas, even if it may not be possible to connect with either of them.
Custom Title: Puppet
RP Sample: It didn't hurt, but it felt like it should've.
Instead she just felt cold all over. Numb. As though she were still frozen in that final ice. Sitting up took a tiny eternity, and blinking, watching the blackness turn to hazy colors and finally the familiar cobblestone of Twilight Town's Station Heights, was like coming to the planet from another universe.
Xion curled in on herself, tucking her leaden legs under her.
Why am I here?
She couldn't remember much at first, and it wasn't clear to her how long she sat on the ground and breathed. She'd forgotten Sora. Even his name seemed alien, despite the fact that she knew she'd heard it--uttered it--known it, like nothing else she'd ever known. Roxas's face, too, was hazy, and the moments she remembered on the clock tower felt more like scenes from a long-loved childhood storybook.
Am I me?
She knew that answer too well.
Is there a me now?
That she wasn't so sure of.
Slowly, like a child carefully exploring the topography of a cat, she reached up to both her ears to feel the hair there.
Limp. With the strands on her right tucked behind her ear.
She deflated with a sigh of misplaced relief. Sure, it wouldn't last, but at least she wouldn't be so confused. Finding Sora would take time, and...
...Why did she need to find Sora?
I can't remember.
There had been a reason. Something important, but...who was Sora to begin with? What did he have to do with her?
I don't know. I don't...I don't know--!
Calm down. Just calm down. Don't panic. Forcing herself to breathe, she tried to think. Maybe she could go back to find R...to find that guy with the blindf...was he blindfolded? No, he'd been...what guy?
"Rrrrrgh!" She batted at her own temples in frustration, hands fisting in her hair.
The Organization. Of course.
Without hesitation, Xion rose. She'd find her way back to the castle and put the pieces back together there. With Axel. And Roxas. Yeah, that sounded nice.
For just a moment she wavered, as though tethered by an invisible force to the spot where she'd been sitting, but then she turned her back on it, gripped by the terrible thought that with it she was leaving behind all the memories that truly mattered.
